This is ace. The lyrics are what stand out. It also sounds full for an album that is so old. I’m biased by being a Dylan fan, but I forgot how unusual this album is compared to anything you’d hear now. 5/5
Sounds a bit dated to me. Very 80s. Of course, I only really know Aerosmith from their mid-career stuff. The hits hold up but not an album I’d need to listen to from start to finish. 3/5 70/100
Love this one. It’s my buddy, Gil’s, favorite album. 5/5 89/100
I don’t think people appreciate how punk the Go-Go’s were because the recorded version is slicker. Driving. Catchy. 82/100 4/5

Really solid album. Queen had range.
Love Lou Reed. This would fall under deep cuts for me. I think the standout stuff is the lyrics and the way he paints a picture with his words.
A little too overproduced for me. Everything feels like it has a layer of smudge on it. This hides the songs. I’d listen to it again but not sure if I would listen to the full album. 70/100 3/5
Definitely a nighttime album. I’d put this on with some wine and a dark room. 4/5 80/100
Great album. New to me. I know Cat Stephens, but as a cultural figure and not by his songs. Totally listening to this one again. 5/5 90/100
Interesting. Not my thing. 2/5

Excellent album. Great peak jazz. 5/5
Never heard this. But I’m a fan. Sort of Talking Heads style. 3/5
Never heard of this guy before. But it is weirdly good stuff.
I like this. Mellow, melodic. Never listened to it before. 4/5
Some big band era sounds. Some really cool horror movie vibes. An eclectic album. 3/5
Peak early-2000s garage rock. It’s solid and fast. 4/5
She’s a proper Spurs fan so that gives her a boost from the jump. 3/5
