1001 Albums Summary

Riff heavy, fun, fuzzy. Saw a cool synthesis of the various strains of 90s heavy music. I liked the last track, until they used the last 30 seconds to show us what it sounds like when you don't know how to use a monophonic synth.

My biggest take away from this album is that the fake ending on albums is an annoying gimmick. I'm sure it means a ton to the people in Glasgow. Again with the synths Jesus.

It's too damn long for every song to be that low bpm. I understand the cultural importance, but generally pretty weak.

A solid 22 minutes. Shame he was a pedophile.

Second time I smoked was to this album. Everybody knows the second time is when it really hits. It was a revelation. I listened to it for a solid 2 weeks after that. It's hard to comprehend algebra 2 when Miles is empirically proving that I'm a product of Yakub.

Not a single track over 5 and a half minutes, i'm embarassed to admit that if the spotify description hadn't specifically name checked the beatles I probably would have heard it but not made the connection. This is like if the paul clone they grew in the vat popped off in 73. 3/5

First listen, beautiful voice. I like the epiphany that he can and will fuck all those women up there on the street. Took me multiple tries to finish 5/10

It's crazy that this is Snoop's peak album, and yet somehow he's gotten by on sheer personality for the past 30 years. A legend of the ol long beach scamazz.

Interesting that so many songs feel too slow to dance to. It's an intellectual exercise on the nature of One. 6/10

Good for pirate sex. Downtown Train makes me excited to dance at my wedding. 8/10

If the guitar player at your gig brings this album up unprompted, you're either at the absolutely RIGHT jam session, the absolutely WRONG jam session, or what is soon to become the most interesting church gig of your life. 5/10

starts off as a 1, becomes at one point maybe a 3, ends definetly a two. Like.... I enjoy esoteric lyrics, but he just has no mouth for poetry, or no ears for it or something idk. I know I'm supposed to like this. But I honestly like Dave Mathews band more than this. IDK sorry Aussies
