I really enjoy the weird vibes that Radiohead gives me. They always put me in this place somewhere in-between. I love the guitar, and the way the songs have you kind of floating into space. The eerie vocals double down on their strangeness and bring me to edge of some abyss, I'm asking for more. I've always been a fan of this odd music, and in rainbows reminds me that I haven't listened to enough recently. 20/15 bananas.
I liked the mountain king one. I think I've actually played that. I think this is a very clever album for it's time. It seems like they were very much aware of how some of the things they were doing looked, and so they leaned into it.
Notes on the music, it's The Who, classic rock. Music that I grew up listening to in the background in a million different ways. It may not have ever been something I sought out for myself, but it is the type of music that shaped the soundtrack of my youth.
21/15 bananas for creativity and nostalgia.
This album came out when I was in grade school. I remember loving the single Black Hole Sun. This is one of the many albums that contributed to my love of heavy guitar riffs against an angsty, pain-ridden lyrical background of soul filled songs to fall deep into.
I count myself lucky to grow up in such an era. This album gets all the bananas, maybe some will be left over for tomorrow's music.
I think this album was interesting for what it was. I may not be in the best listening space right now for this kind of electronic sort of talking instead of singing sort of music. But I thought this was refreshing.
I do think this is the kind of music that blends into the background and can be easily ignored. Good or bad, that's how I feel about it. 20/20 bananas. That is to say around 3/5 stars.
I like the funk. This album with the New Orleans influences really spoke to me. I felt like this was the musical equivalent of House of Leaves, it was experimental, and a piece of art. It was spoken poetry one moment and uptown funk the next. It gave me feelings of Audrey Hepburn and then jazz parades, after that, I was turning a corner into a noir film. The next moment I was met by the deep bass voice that ran through the album keeping it coherent and gave the entire thing a flow.
All in all I absolutely loved it for the work of art that it is, it filled me up, and didn't let me down. 35/20 bananas. 5 stars.
I like the poppy sounds. This was another album I was able to put on and let it take me through some work. In fact, it had started over and I didn't notice for a few minutes.

I don't know what to say about this album. It's the type of heavy music that speaks of my youth, even though this would have come out when I was really little.
The sound quality isn't top notch, the musicians only know a couple cords, and yet, and yet...
This is an example of the whole being greater than the sum of its parts. Maybe it's the energy of the singer, maybe it's the lyrics, maybe it's some magical ether drawn from the devil himself. But whatever it is, it works.
