Just awful.
This was not a good start to my day. Almost as bad as ABBA.
I really liked this one a lot. Can’t believe I’ve never heard it before. Bonus points for the theme song to Conan’s podcast.
Wasn’t too bad. Got some nice early punk vibes in some of the songs. A little bit too “jazzy” for me in some parts, but I liked it. Except that one song where he was yelling about his mom calling.
Pretty weird, but funky in a good way. Once in a lifetime is a banger.
This guy was rock and roll before it was even a thing and this album is him taking modern rock songs and making them BETTER. Bought the CD when it came out. Amazing.
This is probably the only OutKast album I’ve never listened to. It’s pretty much two albums. One Big Boy, and one Andre 3000. It’s good but it’s also 2.5 hours long. Halfway through the album it’s like you go from club music to baby making music, which was interesting for my work commute.
This album was “grrrl riot” stuff for coffee shops. Not my thing really.
I know this band is huge but I’ve never understood the appeal. This album felt like a boring soundtrack to a boring indie movie.
I enjoy some songs from the Zepp but overall the album seemed like one big bluesy-rock song. Wish it switched up a bit more but wasn’t too bad.
I actually liked this quite a bit more than I thought I would! Kinda had some surf rock Beatles with an early punk vibe to it. Huge points for having mister dobalina on here as well. Now excuse me while I go cry to “shades of grey”.
I’m not a big country fan but I’m aware of Merle’s legacy. Some of the songs really painted a picture so kinda fun to listen to and had some fun guitars. “Drink up and be somebody” will definitely go on the drinking playlist. Still a bit too westerny for me though.
I really, really dislike anything that resembles techno or dance music, but I’ve always liked Fatbot Slim for some reason. Maybe it was the awesome videos of his when I was younger. This album was a fun way to start my morning commute.
This album had two hits on it (which are bangers) and the rest felt like an 80s movie.
I like some stuff by the cure but it gets kinda dull after awhile for me. Always been a bit on the “emo meets new-wavy” side. With that being said, pictures of you and love song are fun songs.
This album rocks! Very first song I knew this album would be killer. This reminds me of drinking beer, watching jackass as a teenager, and shredding anything on wheels.
This sounds like your uncle Jimbos band playing in the smokiest bar in town. Good mix of Rod Stewart and Elton John. Sweet bass lines though.
I had never even heard of this artist/group. Just couldn’t get into this album at all. Boring 90s techno(?). Made it a few songs and Spotify showed the (remastered) album being 5 hours…?! Jeesh.
I love queen but this not their best album. If you like queen you’ll like it though, just doesn’t have any of the hits.
Had a couple of the classics on there. A little too early of Elton for my likings.
Classic punk/hardcore album. If you’re into that kinda stuff (I am) then you’ll probably love it. Has a couple of their hits on it. I tend to forget this album was released in the 80s but some of these songs definitely remind you.
I couldn’t get into this hippy stuff. Never heard of them before. Sounds like a band that would play early at Woodstock.
Man John Lennon is just the worst. This whole album did nothing for me beginning to end…and is that COOKIE MONSTER I hear on the second song??! Good lord.
Never heard of this guy before but man, I liked this a lot more than I thought I would have considering it’s not in English and I couldn’t understand a single word. Very funky in a good way.
I don’t know why I can’t get into this album/band. I feel like their guitars have the same tone in each song. Not saying it’s bad, probably just not for me.
Dreadful. Felt like I was listening to the Donnie Darko soundtrack.
This sounded like like Oasis and Garbage had a baby. Very 90s indie rock feel to it. Kind of dragged on after a bit.
Well THIS was a pleasant surprise after weeks of 60s folk rock and foreign artists. Haven’t listened to this album since I owned the CD in high school and oh man does it still rock.
I’ve only heard of Zappa from an old Saturday night live episode and people on Reddit who can’t stop talking about him. This is weird stuff like if someone gave an angry Cole’s up person a saxophone.
If I never hear stairway to heaven again, I will be totally ok.
If you close your eyes, you can believe this album is Dracula: the musical. Not as cool as the album cover would lead you to believe.
I’m always weary when I get some old country album but Willie is usually pretty good. I enjoyed his version of unbridled love(?).
This is their first album. Still pretty good but imo not their best one. However, I’ll take anything by the foo fighters.
This album was ok but a bit slow for me.
This album is a stinker. And now I have “Dreamer” stuck in my head for the rest of the day so great.
I know she’s a legend but I have never listened to more than a couple of her songs. This was pretty good, I thought it would be slower.
Can’t believe I listened to an entire Madonna album on the way to work. I bet this album SLAPPED in 1989. Some of the songs were a tad dull but I actually got into more than I thought I would.
This album is part of a very small exclusive club of albums I just couldn’t bring myself to finish.
I think an old roommate of mine blaring this album everyday kinda ruined it for me.
I swear every other song on this album had bongos in it.
This whole album felt like an awful Bond soundtrack.
Is there a name for this style of music? 60s British rock? Anyways, I don’t think I like it. All sound like knock offs of the Beatles.
Too weird for me. Even for this era.
The entire time listening to this album I had that annoyed Clint Eastwood look on my face.
I love Thin Lizzy but find it really hard to enjoy live albums. Can’t hold it against them though.
This sounds like the Beatles tried to do a country album. Not in a good way.
Holy freaking keyboards. Every song is like a coked up organ player from a baseball stadium.
I feel like the last 10 albums have been from this time period. This may not help my review of this one.
Albums ok. They are supposed to be one of the pioneers of punk but really it’s mellow music to drive to or cook dinner on a Sunday.
If you’ve never heard of chvrches do yourself a favor and check them out. I listen to punk/thrash/rap and don’t dig pop too much but this band is amazing.
