V Strong 3, big 80s synth pop dance vibe, catchy catchy, goes on for a bit with a lot of the same stuff
Decent 4, didn’t finish it though haha Angsty, afflicted, classic riffs and pretty orchestral elements
Strong 4, based rock opera
Big fan of the trip hop vibe. Catchy bass lines, beats and vocals, but a lot of the tracks end up being forgettable for me Decent to strong 3 in my book!
The Beatles! Classic songwriting, silly melodies & tones, and influence from all sorts of world music. Not my favorite Beatles record, but it’s darn good. Decent 4 on this one for me.
Catchy, very VERY 80s. Was like listening to 45 minutes of very energetic Tom Jones with an 80s band. Liked it, but it needed more changes of pace to hold attention. Was a bit much for me I’d give it a decent 3
Some good tracks, didn’t hold attention as we as some of their other albums, give it a decent 3
Mysterious and enigmatic Pink Floyd, really interesting stories and songs written about Syd Barrett. Dave Gilmour (Gilmore ?) guitar playing at its best One of my absolute favorite albums, it gets a 5!
Quintessential Brit pop/rock zone, and like it. Always a fan of Alex Turner’s matter-of-fact and sometimes frantic/desperate delivery, and the song writing is very good. If someone else was singing I probably wouldn’t like this too much That being said , this thing thrashes around a little too much and loses a little bit off my attention, I’d give I’d a decent 3
Strong 3 she’s a heart melter
