Future Days
CanNot for everyone, but a really strange and beautiful album if you give it a chance. Bel Air is one of the most engaging 20 minute songs I can think of.

Really enjoyed this! knew about half the Songs, either because of Radio or being played in social situations. Was worried 50 minutes would be a little long, but it held my attention well.
Enjoyed this more the I expected, but still kind of a boring and safe album. 3 stars is a bit generous, more like 2.7
Hadn’t heard of this band. Thought it had some good songs, a bit slow in parts, probably be nice to listen to on a road trip. 3.5
I’ve listened to other albums by this artist before and always enjoy it to some degree, I like the instrumentation on this one and the hypnotic tone of West African music in general. I don’t love the vocals, maybe if I understand them I’d feel different. 3.5
Another album where I’m familiar with some songs but not the whole. Those songs work really well in the context of the album. Some pretty good Guitar solos for a “Synth Band”
Some great songs and flow to this album, I think my favorite part of The Who is the more adventurous sonic textures and sounds they sprinkled throughout the album. It’s funny to me that this was considered “Hard Rock” but it makes sense for the times.
Not a band I was familiar with, but I enjoyed it and could see coming back to it. Wondering if they had some influence on A.C Newman/ The New Pornographers. Favorite Song: Don’t Trust the Stars
The production on some songs is kind of weird to me, Thin? Echoey? But I really like the flow of these songs, Tangled up in Blue to Simple Twist of Fate is a great start to the album, ends beautifully with Shelter from the Storm and Bucket’s of Rain. Will definitely revisit. 4.5
Definitely a Mood improving album (at least for me yesterday) interesting to hear the hits in the context of the album. Favorite Tracks: “Savoir Faire” “ I Want Your Love”

Always a fan of the softer more experimental side of Deerhunter. Favorite Tracks: “Memory Boy” “He Would have Laughed”. 4.5
This is Fine, I prefer the instrumental songs personally. 2.5
A bit boring, with some pleasant orchestration. Some lyrical content I didn’t really care for, but to be expected from Frank. 2.7
I kind of remember when this album came out and had heard a few songs from it. An enjoyable and interesting album. the intensity of every song gets a bit tiring with the almost 60 min run time. 3.5
Love the eclectic nature of the album, still sounds relevant and interesting in 2023.
Nice cinematic flow to the album with the mixture of sung and instrumental tracks.
Some great songs on this album! it doesn’t flow as nicely as Loveless, but you can see where they were going.
Rewards a close listen. It can drift into becoming background music, but Jarrett will inevitably play some phrase or melody that will grab your attention and bring you back into the moment.
Some songs I liked, some not for me. Favorite track: Cowboys and Angels
Happy Mondays are an intriguing band, probably nothing sounded like them at the time. I like the repetitive psychedelic grooves of this album, but they can also be a slog at times. 3.5
One of my favorite Neil Young Albums. It grows on you
