Let's Get It On
Marvin GayeLighter-hearted jazz. Let’s Get It On is iconic. The rest is more of the same which gets repetitive. There’s a reason only one song has most of the clicks, not that any of it is bad. If I Should Die Tonight is good too.

Classic grime, definite high points with Shutdown and That’s Not Me but every song slaps.
Highlights: The Stars, Love is Lost, Valentine’s Day, Boss of Me, Set the World on Fire, You feel so lonely you could die Mid: Where are we now, I’d rather be high, How does the grass grow, If you can see me, Dancing out in Space Lowlights: Heat, The Next Day, Dirty boys Old man Bowie voice doesn’t help, bad vocal mixing, some good old type songs, but mostly mid. Also bad tracks were BAD
B.I.B.L.E. CLEARS!!!! Wu-tang lore, Samurai x MF Doom type. No bad songs, but only one standout. Other songs I liked in the moment: Cold world, I gotcha back
Good classic Bowie vibes throughout, although only standouts were the second half of Station to Station and Wild is the Wind.
Beautiful jazzy masterpiece. Good for that type of mood, heavily weighted towards the front end of album but they are all good. Best would be Seven Years and Painter Song.

Definitely some bangers in there, Right Here Right Now, Rockefeller Skank, Praise You; Gangster Trippin and Soul Surfing we’re good too. All the other tracks were way too repetitive and boring.
Really good album end to end. Only miss was maybe NYC Cops but even that has its moments.
Although Respect stands out as the only hit from this album all the other songs stand on their own and don’t sound the same or repetitive like in Let’s Get It On.
Classic grime, definite high points with Shutdown and That’s Not Me but every song slaps.
Lead singer has an annoying lisp. Songs just kinda feel flat. Pretty stereotypical 80s punk rock. Kinda reminds me of background music in a tiny hawk game.
More upbeat than the album title makes it sound. Hillbilly twang. It’s alright, but repetitive and predictable.
It’s hard to get over the blatant Beatles imitation of some of these songs. Maybe this was just a product of the era. Big Sky is the first song to give its own identity and it pays off hugely and it Carrie’s all the way through to Starstruck. The rest of the album falls away a bit
Blues. I feel like this is good for a couple songs but to me bluesy riffs that drag on get draining to listen to for a full album. Not bad music, but wouldn’t listen to it as an album again.
What. An. Album. Every song is amazing. Every song is unique. Best album so far. It’s a real shame it’s not all on Spotify.
Great Beatles album. Exactly what you’d expect if you know their music. Love you Too and Tomorrow Never Knows weren’t as good as the rest
Terrible. None of the songs have any substance. Maybe it’s just not my type of music, I just truly don’t get it.
It’s alright. Only really liked The Windmills of Your Mind for the classic Bond vibes. The rest was pretty generic
Simple Man and Free Bird carry but the rest are good too
Disco era MJ. Don’t Stop and On the Wall we’re good. Although everything about MJ in this era was pretty basic.
More than a feeling, Peace of Mind and Long Time start the album off really well. Falls away a bit but not much. Decent.
Boring. Vocals way too quiet. This is like the music you make as a kid where you find a nice 4 note bar and then repeat it again and again and again because you don’t know how to develop it.
Decent country vibes, southern man is the only song that I liked. The high pitch tone is draining. Thank god I didn’t like this enough to want it on Spotify.
Couldn’t convince myself to like anything from this album. Most songs are all over the place and melodically poor. Some songs have redeeming qualities but the mumbled vocals and odd additions ruin it.
Could not wait for this one to end. Only redeeming song is Psycho Killer, obviously.
I don’t understand screamer sorry
Story telling unmatched. Every song has the same vibe but enough to keep it unique. Definitely not a style I’d like to shuffle onto though, very specific vibe to enjoy.
All time classic.
Hit a diamond in the rough with this one. Fantastic album front to back.
Blew away my expectations. Intro of the first song gave me flashbacks to the slog of another alternative album, but it quickly got better. Super chill vibe.
Not really my thing. If you like really old school hip hop then I get it, but nah.
Good background music for a calm vibe but nothing really stands out. Kinda basic in the end.
Some decent songs, kind of all melds together. Decent
