Wow! What a great album. 9 tracks and the the first 7 are essential Classic rock hits to this day. I forgot how great Billy Joel was and how fun his music is. I really loved this album.

I liked this way more than expected. I normally don’t like Irish music but this was more than the cliches. It sounded great - I read it was produced by Elvis Costello which is cool. Shane’s lyrics and delivery were Sunday morning drunken filth regret in the best way. Not a quintessential “punk” sound but all the attitude.

Three stars. It was good. I didn’t dislike it. It didn’t move me. It’s it’s own vibe and I’m sure that vibe has its place on some days for some people. Jealousy was the one song with a melody that perked my ears up. The other songs were very…ok. Not bad but just all sounded like mid tempo filler. Drum machines and keyboard pads. Not quite sung vocals. Again, I didn’t dislike it just probably won’t revisit.
Classic Frank. Unfamiliar songs to me but the quintessential Frank Sinatra sound and vibe. Listened while raking leaves. 4 star. Loved it.
This is not a type of music I enjoy aside from being background music in Revenge of the Nerds 1. Plus isn’t this guy a pedophile? Cool to listen to once but I’m not feeling it.
