Pretty sweet Latin beats. Approaching the level of prog I like, and all acoustic. Very nice to hear something I would never otherwise have been exposed to.

Definitely a seminal album as far as American culture goes. Funny how timeless some of the lyrics are, while the beats themselves are so simple and, dare I say, outdated now.

Catchy beats and melodies, but overall pretty boring and nothing special.

British Invasion meets the renaissance fair. The standup base really added a cool element.

If youdve told me this was the Guess Who, I probably wouldn’t have questioned that. Definitely some crunchy licks.

Definitely could be the 5th Beatle. Songs sounded familiar even though most were new to me.

Beach boys are critically acclaimed for their innovative sound and crunchy harmonies. The critics were most certainly not listening to this album when they made that observation.

I mostly just want more! Love the harmonies and crunchy baselines that showcase how Crosby excels.

I can appreciate how talented Prince is, and the impact he had on American culture and music is undeniable. But FFS, there’s just so much synth in this album. I just… can’t.
