I’m so not a fan of them lol, not awful but a bit of a trudge
I liked it but struggled to get through it, I’d imagined the youth of the time listening to it and am surprised at how a lot of them turned out lol
I had a lot of issues getting through this one, but it wasn’t too too bad
It was solid, a nice change of pace from the last two picks, but I enjoyed it. I wish it was on Spotify lol
Holy fuck the whiplash I got from track one to track two. Idk… I liked big brother for the message, but the rest of the album was alright (aside from the first song, that one was probably my favorite off of this album, but also real talk? I’ve heard better versions, but I couldn’t have heard those without him? (Thanks Stevie) The weird flip from track one to two really threw off the vibe though, and the rest of the album just kinda dug it in (Tuesday heartbreak was kinda ick for me, and then it felt like “you got it bad girl” just had unfaithful undertones with the rest of the songs? Like that’s what some orbit boi would try to pull on someone or something Idk, I don’t think I was in a good head space for this one today, I know he’s got better songs from other albums though, “I just called to say I loved you” is a childhood favorite of mine …yeah
Media blitz and minimal stood out for me, good classic punk sound
what a vibe lol, i could listen to more of this when im busy for sure, though im not sure if it'd be the go-to if i was just hanging out
Gangsta Gangsta was alright but like....lol holy cow what a difference in style of rap from this generation to then. It's crazy for me since I always learned the background of NWA before i really listened to their music. Admittedly, it's cringe lol, i was back when i was a kid too, but it's so much more cringe now. What crazy though is as cringe as it was they were really out there doing gangster shit, even though their rhymes were "wack" giving it a 3 out of 5 after thinking it over again, not really my style of rap and the ego showboating drove me crazy lol
it was okay i liked the firstsong a lot but six minutes into it i was ready foo move on to the next one. overall its a bop, but i dont nknow if i would go out of my way to listen to it again. im also so fucking drunk lmoooooooooo
T'was a bop, wasn't what i was expecting but i enjoyed it
I would probably have never listened to this if it wasnt for this album, but good lord....hard to get through after a stressful day
i dont like the rolling stones lol
Hard not to love them
It's like i'm edging the whole time, except i'm on the edge of pleasure instead of orgasm.
really liked the first song
Great songs, reminded me a lot of the stuff my mom would play growing up, good vibes
Man's dropped the hard r in a song and I was not expecting it lol what a ride
it was okay, not my style and Seven Nation Army is so overplayed
I'm giving this 4 stars because "The Weight" was a song I remember listening to with my dad on a dump run in his old shitty truck and this was a weird throwback I didnt expect. Great sound
im just not really a radio head fan i guess lol
Dad's favorite band, has some good songs on it Money For Nothin holds a special place, Walk of Life is another banger
Tim Buckley gives me the ick
It was okay, too slow for me though
What an interesting voice lol "this is what she's like" has such an odd intro it's wild lol (I'm so drunk and forgot to write this when i listenedd to it lolol) I'm giving it a 3 out of 5 because It's not awful, but I don't think I'd pick it very often lol One of those things gives me "werewolves of london" vibes because it's literally the same chrod progression lol
Muse was the first band I've ever seen preform live, they opened for MCR on The Black Parade is Dead tour! (this album also came out on my birthday apparently? that's neat) The intro is awesome, I feel like it's kind of a jarring cut into starlight though Starlight is a good song? Supermassive black hole=#TeamEdward Map Of the Problematic is a song I would play at full volume with my shitty skullcandy headphones while I tried to sleep on the bus...aint nothing like the feeling of the cold bus window on your face on a 6am bus ride when you went to bed at 2am lol Invincible has a neat guitar solo....way better live lol assassin is good? eh...take it or leave it Exo-Politic's guitar riff is so damn catchy. and then the bass coming in? oooh. vibes. Matt Bellamy really goin off with them vocals in City of Delusion, also, fuckin TRUMPETS AND SPANISH GUITAR YESSSS HooDoo is beautifully chaotic and tragic sounding Knights of Cydonia was the song they opened with...that was a powerful introduction to them, much more exciting live but still a banger, and still makes my wrists hurt on guitar hero lol Glorious wraps up the album perfectly, and when the synth comes in it scratches my brain in all the right ways. Good album, 10/10
was disappointed "She Cracked" wasn't about Fortnite
I love the live version of Show Me The Way
Pusherman is a bop kind of hard for me to get into, good background music but i wouldnt go for it ya know?
i had to sing Bye Bye Love for Chorus and hated every second of it because there was only four of us in the baritone section and I hated Chorus because I was shy as FUCK lmao You are my sunshine is a classic
not really my style
