The Suburbs
Arcade FireI like a lot about this album, and some songs (Sprawl II) are a 10/10. But overall I find it a bit repetitive, one-note and flat as a whole.

I love this album was very happy when this came as my second option. United is the best song on here.
This is literally my favourite album of all time. Cannot fault anything.
Great album, some 10/10 songs, but overall not my thing
Probably needs another listen to appreciate, but it didn't grab me at all on first pass
Love Creedence but this isn't their best. They released something crazy like 5 different 5-star albums in just a few years, but I always found this one a bit middling between the hits.
A really solid album I could probably get heavily invested in at another time. While I'm sure it's incredible for its genre, it's not quite my thing, the tracks are nice but a little slow and samey for my own tastes.
I admit I didn't listen to it all, but I couldn't get into it. Rating would probably change if I give it another go.
I like Bon Jovi but this has a lot of filler on. Strangely some of the better songs weren't singles, though. It's pretty average even by BJ standards.
I like Big Star and some tunes here did immediately grab me, but by the end I was a bit bored of it. I think it possibly just needs some relistens, sometimes when I hear an album for the first time, it doesn't click - you need to get familiar with the songs. For now I give this a 2, but that would likely change in future!
I really like 2 of the songs, and the album is undoubtedly a huge achievement musically. But there is literally a 12 minute song where nothing happens for half the time. There is too much 'filler' on an album of only 5 tracks. I appreciate its importance and innovation in the prog field, but that's just not enjoyable listening for me. The opening and closing tracks are absolutely killer though.
