1001 Albums Summary

Of all the 1001 albums for this thing to have started on, this is one of them. Interesting, but far from a strong start. I wonder if this site lets you go back and redo ratings. But in any case, jazz is kinda neat.

Nothingburger. I listened to this the first time while driving and on at least five occasions looked down to notice that the song had changed without me even realizing it. Just slides right off the brain. Not "bad" per se, but not much of anything else either.

No surprises here, kind of formulaic, though that doesn't necessarily mean it's bad. I wouldn't search it out and don't intend on listening to it again, but I probably wouldn't skip it if it came up in a shuffle either. It's music shaped.

I'm sure it's technically impressive, but it goes on for so long and doesn't really do all that much with the time. The shorter tracks are pretty good, but there are multiple ~20 minute ones that just wander around. I don't mind it, but it fades into noise after a while.

It is arguably technically music, but not much more than that
