Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not
Arctic MonkeysReally fun to start of, but sadly falls off in the second half
Really fun to start of, but sadly falls off in the second half
Nice vibe, not that adventurous though
Cool, would rather listen to paranoid though. "United" and "Red, White and Blue" are bad and boring.
Simple and wierd, just how i like Bjork, just can't enjoy it to its full extend, since i felt like i should just relisten to Vespertine
Energetic, fun, creative and just unique enough throughout that you never get bored. Doesn't get 5 stars cause i don't really feel like relistening to it again. Also sick album cover.
A few classics and some fun music to dance to, but overall to safe, a pop album really has to bang the entire way through to be amazing
Trippy and psychedelic, the female vocal here is really awesome and the sudden changes the band makes mid song are fun and interesting. The album fits my taste, but sadly it's missing a banger or two, not really a lot here i would revisit, especially when the trademark psychedelic lyrics. also whats with Disc 2, am i supposed to listen to all the Cassete versions?
A Classic loud and in your face album. Lyrics and singing are great, but the instrumentation can be a bit to barebones at times. "Fell in love with a girl" is a banger.
Queer is so good, love the key changes.
Not, my thing. I sometimes like soundtracks, but this one really doesn't make any kind of story come to life inside my head while im listening.
Classic Joni Mitchell, i really like Raised on Robbery as it brings the pace, sadly Twisted was kinda meh, but her vocals and interesting melodies help her a lot
Meh, don't really care who this guy inspired, only fun song here is the Bed Bugs one.
This was just a really solid rock album, nothing else to say really
Really did not like the start of the album, Christinas vocals where great, but kinda too much. She really proves why someone like Aretha is great, you need to be an amazing singer, and be ably to hold back so the listener doesn't get overwhelmed (take notes Ado). The album grew on me a bit, and some of the songs like hurt showed some great songwriting skills, but this album is waaaaay to long, and most of the tracks are just forgettable.
I have actually never listened through this entire album, but yeah it's a classic. Not the biggest fan of grunge, but i really doesn't matter when most of these songs are just amazing pop hits with a bunch of distortion. The only reason this album is not a 9+ is that i simply don't enjoy the sound of it that much, but if i was a teenager in the 90's i would hail Kurt as our new anti-establishment king, this album must have been so refreshing to hear at that time
Smooth jazz 4 my earz :))))
Absolute classic, this is one of the best Kanye albums, and it's all cause his lyrics hasn't been tainted by the big ass ego he gets in the future. It doesn't have the amazing and grandiose production like MBDTF, but the down to earth vibe, and way more likable Kanye works wonders here. Skits are great and funny, and i don't think there is a single forgettable song on here.
Very interesting and unique, the blending of genres make this a very interesting album. Not the biggest fan of the production, but it works on songs like "M62 song" that really feells sad and happy at the same time.
Defiantly interesting, but i really can't stand the indie rock vocals here, kinda hard to understand why you would need to listen to such an average piece of indie, when there are way better bands out there.
Classic rock epic, The American Vegetable Destroyers manage to keep me entertained for a solid 2 hours, the 28 tracks all bring something new to the table, and even though the first half has more bangers, the album as a whole is still just really solid.
Sooo much fun stuff on this album, but also a bunch of unimportant stuff. The MC Blowfish bit in Underwater Rimes is my favorite part of this album.
Groovy stuff
Really chill :)
This shit is hilarious and it really saves the entire album, can't really hate an album when you are smiling through the entire thing because of the immense amount of british energy. (Would be a sin to give this more than two stars tho.)
Ohm yeah, jammin
Really fun to start of, but sadly falls off in the second half
