I literally just bought this on vinyl. Love it. Lot more noodling than I remember but has some of my fave Beastie songs so we're good.
Good background music. Not sure I'd seek it out but weirdly this was maybe the first time I ever heard them? Even though they're so famous. Outside of Anchorman or karaoke. It's ok.

Last year as my father passed away, Bridge Over Troubled Water was the song that was playing as he took his last breath. I can't say anything bad about the album. It's too prominent an album in my life.

They know they're not harmonising in tune right? Feels a lot earlier than 1999 which I guess makes this feel a little.... Stale.

Never owned it but my brother had a dubbed cassette tape so I was well aware of this album in my youth. It's only vaguely familiar now some 30 years later. Not much of it stuck apart from the singles and of course, All By Myself.

I do enjoy Rufus though aware he is pretentious AF sometimes. I loved Want One - has my fave RW song on it... so Want Two was always a teeny bit disappointing in comparison, but it's a good album.
