Surprisingly haven’t actually listened to this one all the way through before! The second half is almost entirely instrumental which I was really not expecting. Definitely preferred the first half. Standout songs include: Beauty and the Beast, Heroes, Blackout, The Secret Life of Arabia
I will always take a studio album over a live album. This was a fun listen as expected, includes all the early Who hits you would expect and some cool extended medleys, but I could have done without the talking breaks that come with a live album like this.
This was a huge surprise for me! Had heard of Portishesd in passing but had never listened to any of their music. Not entirely up my alley, but this was haunting and experimental and the perfect vibe for a gloomy January day. Standout song: Mysterons
It’s been about 20 years since I last listened to this album front to back, and it still slaps. Tre’s drumming is particularly noteworthy on this one. So much of the music I listened to growing up was directly inspired by Green Day and this album. Holds lots of nostalgia for me. Standout songs: Welcome to Paradise, Basket Case
My husband is stoked that I enjoyed this one.
Sex Dwarf is insane
I had never heard of The Blue Nile but this was great!
Cried along to A Case of You on my way home from the grocery store
I did not expect every SP song i know to be from the same album. Some bangers, but 2 hours of Billy Corgan’s voice is 1.5 hours too many. Album art slaps though.
This was nice, but a little too glum for my taste. You can feel his depression throughout the whole record. Wild that this music came from a 21-year-old
Needed this today
This fucking rocks
Glad I finally listened to this album
