Getz/Gilberto by Stan Getz

Really great. High fidelity. Great early morning music. Very soothing and calming. Will replay a whole bunch.

Aja by Steely Dan
Feb 22 2025

This was incredible. Easily the best produced and sounding record from that era. Songs were all solid and will definitely be returning to this.

Cosmo's Factory by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Feb 23 2025

Just fine. Don't feel I need to return to it anytime soon.

21 by Adele
Feb 24 2025

Pretty great, no bad songs but mixing wasn't as amazing as I'd hoped.

Elephant by The White Stripes
Feb 25 2025

Pretty solid, a track or two I'll come back to. Not really a big punk fan, but impressive nonetheless.

Stankonia by OutKast
Feb 26 2025

I did not enjoy this nearly as much as I expected to. I found the production abrasive in a bad way and a few songs had nice moments that didn't last. The singles are still standout but not much I would go back for. I may have just been in a bad mood while listening though.

The Doors by The Doors
Feb 27 2025

Pretty good. Well recorded. Already knew of the big songs from it. The outro and the album in general is trippier than I remember. Might go back to a few songs but probably not the whole thing.

Getz/Gilberto by Stan Getz
Feb 28 2025

Really great. High fidelity. Great early morning music. Very soothing and calming. Will replay a whole bunch.

Maverick A Strike by Finley Quaye
Mar 03 2025

Enjoyed this more than I expected. Really cool rasta vibes mixed with Rock. Not every track for me but really loved the vibe.

Aftermath by The Rolling Stones
Mar 04 2025

Really did not enjoy this at all. The quality of the recording was very poor, and I just don't like Mick's vocals on any of this. Don't think I'll come back to this.

Lust For Life by Iggy Pop
Mar 05 2025

I actually enjoyed this more than I expected. Some good jams and would throw it on again.

The Velvet Underground by The Velvet Underground
Mar 06 2025

This was unexpectedly enjoyable. I will definitely be returning to this album. The only track I didn't like was the long one that sounded nothing like the rest of the album, but overall really solid and I'll be checking out more VU because of it.

Rid Of Me by PJ Harvey
Mar 12 2025

Unexpectedly awesome. Will return to this often. Drums are some of the best I've heard recorded.

So by Peter Gabriel
Mar 15 2025

Pretty good. Couple of standout tracks. Probably wouldn't return to this project on the whole however.

Joan Armatrading by Joan Armatrading
Mar 18 2025

This album was very dope. I will probably return to it on the whole. Favorited several tracks from it. Really the opener is the only one I don't like that much. Really fantastic recording quality as well for the 70's.

Mar 19 2025

This is punk and I mostly did not like it. Only took away one song from it. Just so repetitive and nothing that interesting happening. Same formula over and over, gets tedious.

Sunshine Hit Me by The Bees
Mar 20 2025

This was unexpectedly good. A lot of replay value throughout the record. Will most certainly be coming back to it. Has a good early morning vibe.

...And Justice For All by Metallica
Mar 21 2025

Hated this. Don't like metal. Nothing worth playing back in my mind.

Machine Head by Deep Purple
Mar 22 2025

Much better than I expected. Nothing really stood out but there were no bad songs either. Will probably throw this on again in the background. Glad to have found it.

Talking Book by Stevie Wonder
Mar 24 2025

This was really great. Glad I listened to it. A couple songs I'll defintely be playing again. Not sure if I'd do the whole things from start to finish to often however.

Who's Next by The Who
Mar 25 2025

This was fine. Well recorded. Couple classic songs but nothing that special in my mind, or at least I didn't personally get much out of this album.

Want Two by Rufus Wainwright
Mar 26 2025

This was unexpected and pretty awesome. Reminded me of Vampire Weekend in a good way. Will definitely be returning to this.

Dance Mania by Tito Puente
Mar 31 2025

Amazing. Will replay often.

Faust IV by Faust
Apr 02 2025

Some cool ideas but so much shit I hated.

Remedy by Basement Jaxx
Apr 03 2025
Fever Ray by Fever Ray
Apr 09 2025

Yeah this was interesting. I will be returning to it, and added it my library. I don't love it though, but no skips, interesting vibe that I think you got to be in the mood for.

I See A Darkness by Bonnie "Prince" Billy
Aug 11 2025

This was an interesting listen. I was really down when I put it on and that both helped and hurt the experience. I'll definitely return to it at least once and I bet theres some songs to take away.

Superunknown by Soundgarden
Aug 12 2025

Don't like hard rock.

White Blood Cells by The White Stripes
Aug 15 2025

Like the first half more than the second. Didn't listen to the whole live set. Will definitely go back to this.
