1001 Albums Summary

Great choice for a first album. I probably never would have listened to this album on my own. But I feel like Cash would say if you listen to any of my albums, please listen to this one. He spills his heart out here and the first song was awesome! So glad for his faith in God, and the truth he is communicating here about God, his faith and reconciliation.

I love jazz. But I think this album should be on the list of albums you should never listen to. I had to go listen to other stuff he's done and it wasn't even close to being as bad as this album, although most of his stuff still sounds like noodling to me. I hate noodling and this entire album was nothing but slow noodling with no structure at all. Made me want to run out of the room.

Great choice for 60s American folk music. The Band (1968). I enjoyed a few songs more than the ones that got the most airplay. Many bands including Grateful Dead (1965) and Canned Heat (1967) jumped on the Folk style music after Bob Dylan (1961) came on the scene.
