Popular Reviews

Diamond Life by Sade

Call me generic, say I dont love music, call me tacky, but thisbis Crack. I love this shit. It was popular and still is popular because its good. One of my favorites from this challenge so far after 50. What can I say. Neo jazz and jazz in general is just really good.

Amnesiac by Radiohead
Apr 15 2025

Extremely atmospheric, in a nice way. Just something nice to vibe to. Pyramid song is an absolutely beautiful piece. Nice lyrics. Definitely for people who are sad. So I understand why people love this band You in what army is strong. Some of these songs are kinda bad like spinning plates. Bear hubting just an instrumental, though it is a good one. Overall a pretty good album with high highs and low lows (Pulk is pretty god awful though)

Metallica by Metallica
Apr 16 2025

Great metal album. Basic but tah5s because it's the metal album

Apr 17 2025

Pretty good psychedelic album, wish I could give it a 7, but it was a really good chill relaxing time. Made my car ride a lot better today

Beggars Banquet by The Rolling Stones
Apr 18 2025

A fantastic album that really had a huge impact when it came out in 1968, can't really go wrong with the stones.

Live At The Regal by B.B. King
Apr 20 2025

All hail the king of the blues. So much soul and pride put into his performances he really was about the musicians life. Great crowd as well.

The White Album by Beatles
Apr 21 2025

I'm not the biggest fan of the Beatles, but it's good. They never can really make anything bad.

21 by Adele
Apr 22 2025

I dont like the music, but her voice is nice

Slanted And Enchanted by Pavement
Apr 24 2025

The instrumentation is wonderful. But the guys singing and voice just make it literally unlistenable

Alien Lanes by Guided By Voices
Apr 25 2025

Not bad, but nothing that really makes you go crazy for the album

Let's Stay Together by Al Green
Apr 26 2025

Very good album, i love it personally, though some songs are a little too mellow

Station To Station by David Bowie
Apr 30 2025

I like david Bowie, but why did they pick this album. Like it's okay, but jts not his stand out hit. It was strong, but couple of the 6 songs were background noise. Good though

Roots by Sepultura
May 01 2025

Good metal album. Some song choices, like the entire last song are questionable. But ultimately, an extremely fun time.

Music by Madonna
May 02 2025

Honestly, first few songs are kinda aged like dogshit on a hot summers day, but the latter half of album honestly isn't bad at all. Like nothing outstanding, but pretty good music

Parallel Lines by Blondie
May 03 2025

It's an okay rock album. Nothing stood out to me accept the hits which were really good. Just boring.

The Nightfly by Donald Fagen
May 04 2025

Chillin thats what we doing.

Brutal Youth by Elvis Costello
May 05 2025

It started off fun, but as it dragged on, and boy did it drag on, it just got repetitive and boring. Like sure its fun, but does this of all things really deserve to be on a list for music you really have to listen to? Like the whole thing just sounds so similar that it feels like at least 7 of the songs are just the same song. Also why are there 6 Elvis Costello albums on here. He's such an okay artist, he deserves a singular album. Not 6.

Aladdin Sane by David Bowie
May 06 2025

It’s a pretty alright album, but the funny thing to me is even though the album itself is unmemorable. The album cover is probably what you think of when you think of David Bowie. Just goes to show the impact a cover can really have.

The Rise & Fall by Madness
May 07 2025

Album doesn't exist in full anywhere i could find. Thus I can't listen to it

Suicide by Suicide
May 08 2025

1 decent starting song cant save the rest of this album from being dogshit. Somehow 25 minutes of music made me wanna kms. 🥀

Bossanova by Pixies
May 09 2025

My group mates are smoking. This album is an absolute vibe. Rocks super hard with the instrumentation being fantastic.

Mothership Connection by Parliament
May 10 2025

This funk got me funked up in a really good funking way that makes me just want to funk up at the funk party. Absolutely funky.

Jack Takes the Floor by Ramblin' Jack Elliott
May 11 2025

As someone whose parents have made him listen to a lot of this kind of music. This is on the lower end of the spectrum.

New Forms by Roni Size
May 12 2025

It’s really only essential if you like a really specific kind of music. Like literally just very okay. Songs are way too long and drag on. Album is the size of a large feature length film. It’s aight

The Man Machine by Kraftwerk
May 13 2025

Honestly. It wasn't bad. I'd say it was good even. It's definitely showing it's age, but its got a lot of charm to it. Some songs do sound like they come from a shifty bootleg of mega man called kilo Tucker or something, but ultimately not bad.

G. Love And Special Sauce by G. Love & Special Sauce
May 15 2025

Pretty good solid album. Don't have much to say honestly except for that.

Here's Little Richard by Little Richard
May 16 2025

This is the man who helped invented rock and roll. Thus, its pretty good.

May 17 2025

Really wish I could do a 3.5. It's not bad, but queen was never a great album band. They could make great singles, but their not really one definitive queen album. Though this one is pretty good.

Kings Of The Wild Frontier by Adam & The Ants
May 19 2025

If I could tell you why I like this album better than say, white album, I couldn't tell you. Something about it was just really fun. Like the lyrics are terrible and the music is just alright, but I could feel that the band really was just having fun with it. Which made me have more fun with it. It's like watching a terrible movie with freinds, It's so nonsensical and trashy that you kinda love it.

Talking Heads 77 by Talking Heads
May 20 2025

Solid debut album, not much else to say honestly. Though psycho killer makes me wanna watch American psycho and snort cocaine

Liege And Lief by Fairport Convention
May 21 2025

Very enjoyable folk album. Loved the singers voice and the music. Sounds like this band Donna the buffalo

The Sun Rises In The East by Jeru The Damaja
May 23 2025

It's a very okay hip hop record. If it came out like 5 years earlier I could see it having been a very influential album. It just came out right before that big shift in hip hop so when it came out it was just another album.

Medúlla by Björk
May 26 2025

I finally found an album tag actually let me use my ap music theory knowledge. Its experimental and wierd but really its just a choir album sounds all round pretty good.

She's So Unusual by Cyndi Lauper
May 27 2025

Great pop album. Her voice can get a little much at times, but other than that this is a fantastic listen.

In The Wee Small Hours by Frank Sinatra
May 28 2025

Is frank sinatra a fantastic singer, absolutely. Is this album about the same topic the whole way through yeah.

May 30 2025

Honestly not a bad album. Has some really strong songs, but also some really meh ones. Also yoko ono is an untalented idiot and I know she's not even on the album, but I just really dont like her. But really good.

Rock 'N Soul by Solomon Burke
Jun 01 2025

The artist is fantastic at giving us one thing, but not much else to be honest. What's there is great though.

Jun 02 2025

Honestly a really strong album with some great songwriting. I can see why the smiths think this is their best album. Definitely gotta do some separation of art and artist cause Morrissey is a prick.

Diamond Life by Sade
Jun 05 2025

Call me generic, say I dont love music, call me tacky, but thisbis Crack. I love this shit. It was popular and still is popular because its good. One of my favorites from this challenge so far after 50. What can I say. Neo jazz and jazz in general is just really good.

Reign In Blood by Slayer
Jun 06 2025

I think its a fantastic metal album, it just all sounds very similar though. Like every song i could jam out to one at a time, but all in a row it sounds just like one really big track. Also the singer can be really hard to understand sometimes. But overall a very rocking album.

Harvest by Neil Young
Jun 10 2025

I have never listened to Neil Young before this. I really wonder why I haven't because this was some damn good music. It knows perfectly when to rock and when to be somber. So many emotions were put into this album. Its one of those albums that you ca just feel the beauty of. Lovely time will listen again.

Ramones by Ramones
Jun 11 2025

All the songs sound the same. Usually this purely a bad thing, but since this is the album that basically began punk music, its much easier to excuse as compared to other albums. Punk all kinda sounds similar anyways, all built on similar ideas and sounds. Its perfectly smart and mindless enough that it really did revolutionize music at the time.

Oar by Alexander 'Skip' Spence
Jun 12 2025

Im only on song 5, and I can tell that this is one of those important because of the times albums, but nowadays its just boring. I respect it and Its not horrible. But there are a lot of other albums from this time era that sound very similar to this, and this one doesn't do much better than any of them.

Bat Out Of Hell by Meat Loaf
Jun 14 2025

This is honestly one of my favorite albums. Every song just has so much power. I mean its not perfect, but its what I vibe with, which is really all that matters I think.

British Steel by Judas Priest
Jun 19 2025

The British always had the US beat in music

After The Gold Rush by Neil Young
Jun 20 2025

Think this is trying to teach me that Neil Young is one of the greatest artists of all time, and I definitely get it.

Songs In The Key Of Life by Stevie Wonder
Jun 21 2025

It was a big bite to chew through, but I can't complain when the steak is juicy and the lobster is buttery.

Fromohio by fIREHOSE
Jun 27 2025

Not bad just not memorable in the slightest

Violent Femmes by Violent Femmes
Jul 07 2025

Absolute banger album. Acoustic punk is rare, but when done right it sounds immaculate
