Nice, just a great guy and a guitar

In Utero by Nirvana
Apr 24 2025

More creative than Nevermind, but a little too self loathing

Time Out by The Dave Brubeck Quartet
Apr 25 2025

Great, cool jazz from a true visionary.

Exodus by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Apr 28 2025
Out Of The Blue by Electric Light Orchestra
Apr 29 2025

Fantastic album, great hits that I already knew, but deep track gems abound as well

The Genius Of Ray Charles by Ray Charles
Apr 30 2025

I only knew of Ray Charles from his later career, had no idea about this "big band" era. Very nice! Showcases his incredible vocal range and style.

Thriller by Michael Jackson
May 01 2025

Outstanding. MJs magnum opus, without a doubt

Kind Of Blue by Miles Davis
May 03 2025

Very chill, great for a wine bar or low key entertaining

Disintegration by The Cure
May 06 2025

Fantastic album, great musicianship, some deep topics but great

May 07 2025

Fantastic album, great musicianship, some deep topics but great. Really good example of this style of music

Dog Man Star by Suede
May 08 2025

It was interesting, clearly of a certain genre, heavy on The Smiths as inspiration, but not as well executed. Listenable if you like that style.

Mask by Bauhaus
May 11 2025

Not good

Physical Graffiti by Led Zeppelin
May 14 2025

Simply fantastic. One hit after another, plus great deep tracks

It's Blitz! by Yeah Yeah Yeahs
May 15 2025

Fairly good album, even though not my usual style.

xx by The xx
May 20 2025

Very enjoyable. Loved the record, loved the style

Africa Brasil by Jorge Ben Jor
May 22 2025

Interesting but a little to poppy

Mama's Gun by Erykah Badu
May 23 2025

Very good, but a little repetitive

Pink Moon by Nick Drake
May 24 2025

Nice, just a great guy and a guitar

Want Two by Rufus Wainwright
May 25 2025
Violator by Depeche Mode
May 30 2025

Depeche at their best

Songs From The Big Chair by Tears For Fears
Jun 05 2025

Outstanding album. The biggest hit from this album is actually the weakest song to me, it doesn't showcase the depth of their work, it was clearly designed for pop radio play. The deeper tracks are fantastic.

Jun 26 2025

The most classic work of a most classic artist. Even the filler is killer.

1984 by Van Halen
Jul 17 2025

Last of the "original lineup" era, and a mixed bag. Eddie's keyboards are used well in places, out of place in others. "Jump" is clearly radio fluff, but other songs are more nuanced, "I'll Wait" a good example. If I never hear "Hot For Teacher" again, it'll be too soon, and, I'll take "Songs that haven't aged well for $1,000, Alex" :)
