Jack Takes the Floor by Ramblin' Jack Elliott

I loved this country, this is how country should be. Simple, real, and not about trucks. This is peak

The White Album by Beatles
Apr 20 2025

It’s the Beatles, I love the Beatles. Yet, this album is pretty bipolar imo. Like it has some of their best songs like “my guitar gently weeps”; some of their most important for music, like “helter-skelter” which was like one of if not the first hard rock songs, and my favs of Beatles like “happiness is a warm gun. Yet, some bad ones too. Like Yoko, and some just forgettable ones. Still, really good

Music by Madonna
May 02 2025

The electro stuff is so loud, I could barely hear her. Not that I really wanted to, she had nothing to say but *love*. There was one song that was decent but the rest was ass. Like, it felt like she took the 80’s, pumped it with steroids, then dropped it onto a Y2K computer. Madonna fell off hard.

Parallel Lines by Blondie
May 03 2025

Good album with some absolute bangers: ie One Way or Another, Sunday Girl, and Heart of Glass. The rest of the album was good too. This is what I want with female pop rock, and should be the standard for an amazing album. LISTEN AND LEARN MADONNA!!!!

Brutal Youth by Elvis Costello
May 05 2025

Gonna be real, I’ve never listened to Elvis Costello before, despite hearing of him a lot. I’m sad it took me this long. This album is, idek how to describe this pop-rock style. It’s, so different than the others. The first song missed for me but the rest hit, and hit really good. Kinder Murder was such a banger.

Aladdin Sane by David Bowie
May 06 2025

Honestly, not my fav Bowie album; but, still pretty good. I love Bowie, so I might be biased, but it was a good album. Not great, not going in my top 10, but good. There weren’t any bad songs, nor absolute bangers. Jean Genie was prolly my fav tho. This is a 3.5 for me, so I round up cause Bowie is an icon

The Rise & Fall by Madness
May 07 2025

This album doesn’t exist, false advertising

Suicide by Suicide
May 08 2025

“America, America is killing its youth” Well this album killed my youth. I swear, I got worry lines from this freaking bass beat. The constant 16th notes or whatever, anxiety. I’m waiting for the drop or explosion of noise, yet there ain’t none. And the lyrics, I would call them profound yet they are so repetitive and out upon such nothing music that their words ring hollow. I first thought that this was a vibe, but now the only vibe I’m getting from this album is STOP LISTENING. I can’t finish this cause I can’t listen to 10 minutes of Frankie killing his family or some shit.

Bossanova by Pixies
May 09 2025

Good, bad. Honestly decently vibes tho

Mothership Connection by Parliament
May 10 2025

Idk, it was so audacious and aggressively funk it earned a few points with me. But it was extremely repetitive and kinda cringe, nice concept tho. Needed better execution and more verses

Jack Takes the Floor by Ramblin' Jack Elliott
May 11 2025

I loved this country, this is how country should be. Simple, real, and not about trucks. This is peak

G. Love And Special Sauce by G. Love & Special Sauce
May 15 2025

Uhm, very mid. Like a lot of it was just bad. I liked the forwardness of the drums tho, and like one song. Just wasn’t a fan of his talk-singing

Here's Little Richard by Little Richard
May 16 2025

Honestly, pretty good. I love how closely related you can tell rock is to R&B and blues. These were def songs to listen to live imo tho. I liked it, oooooooooooooo

May 17 2025

I thought this was a banger album, and not just for the songs I knew. But of course Bohemian Rhapsody is a pure masterpiece. But the other songs were either very grand and cool, or just a little silly. I like a lil silly, esp Freddy silly. This was a perfect blend of the silly and the rock opera, such a dub.

Talking Heads 77 by Talking Heads
May 20 2025

Very repetitive but it wasn’t bad. I liked most of it, was a decent punk vibe. Interesting singing voice/tone, both liked and disliked it.

Liege And Lief by Fairport Convention
May 21 2025

Honestly, this hit the vibe for me. I got a soft spot for folk rock. Reminded me of the crane wives, ifykyk. I was vibin heavy

Highway 61 Revisited by Bob Dylan
May 24 2025

Honestly, pretty good. Nice, folk stuff. Banger lyrics of course but ain’t a fan of the harmonica, was a bit loud. Also his vocals are both good and bad

Like A Prayer by Madonna
May 25 2025

Pretty good pop, what I think of when I think of Madonna Liked the general themes as well, was consistent without being repetitive.

Medúlla by Björk
May 26 2025

Unmemorable, I barely remember anything. Some was bad, some was good, all was nothing

She's So Unusual by Cyndi Lauper
May 27 2025

Pretty good, like very similar to the Madonna album but more rock.

May 30 2025

Honestly, was expecting some Yoko bs, got some genuinely good music tho. WITH NO YOKO!!! I liked both the lyrics and the psychedelic rock, as well as the vocals. Some of them were quite impressive and experimental from John which was cool. All in all, a real good album to break away from The Beatles and make his own musical identity.

Rock 'N Soul by Solomon Burke
Jun 01 2025

It was good, but sounded pretty much the same. It sounded very similar to all this kinda “old timey rock and roll”. Yet good, nothing was bad to listen to

Elvis Presley by Elvis Presley
Jun 03 2025

Alr, so like it started off amazing, but then kinda devolved into not really rock n roll. Like, I wanted the energy to continue and it kinda just faded. 3/5 for the non-boring songs tho

Harvest by Neil Young
Jun 10 2025

Honestly, I loved this. I loved the orchestral aspects that you would never expect from this kind of album. The rock/folk/country/and classical mixture was done extremely well. And I already liked Neil Young, I like his vocals and his lyrics. So yeah, really good.

Ramones by Ramones
Jun 11 2025

I wanna riot, that’s how it made me feel. Some absolutely bangin brit punk. With bangers too, and lyrics that had some depth. It sounded a lot a like tho, but still really good

Oar by Alexander 'Skip' Spence
Jun 12 2025

Honestly, just boring. It was nice, but nothing special. Just forgettable imo.

The Beach Boys Today! by The Beach Boys
Jun 13 2025

Good old pop stuff, like pretty good. The songs all had a similar theme of romantic love, so that was a bit bland. It was really nice tho, like I feel like going to the beach in a open top Chevy or something.

Abattoir Blues / The Lyre of Orpheus by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Jun 15 2025

The first song made me think “oh lord, here we go”, but after that I really enjoyed it. This kind of music, I don’t know the genre, but I really liked it. Each song was unique yet having a similar vibe. I also liked how unserious some of the songs were, like the cannibal song. And then the random, I know that song, at the end.

Tanto Tempo by Bebel Gilberto
Jun 16 2025

I enjoyed it, but wasn’t anything amazing yaknow. I liked it better when she sung in Spanish

Melodrama by Lorde
Jun 17 2025

Honestly, pure dubs here. Love the sound, it’s refreshing hearing something that I could stumble across myself in my kinda vibes. 3.5 imo

British Steel by Judas Priest
Jun 19 2025

I liked it, heavy metal stuff yaknow. Some of the lyrics weren’t bad either, but I honestly wasn’t paying too much attention. It was nice noise

Meat Is Murder by The Smiths
Jul 05 2025

It was good noise, but nothing really stood out to me
