some seriously good tunes and love the audio being pan l/r favs probably i’m only sleeping, for no one, and of course the classics from this
that ish was long good for sure, crazy range in genre while still adhering to a lot of jazz/funk archetypes favs probably village ghetto land, contusion, and summer soft
solid vibes, similar genre but if i had a cd or vinyl of this i would absolutely put it on. lots of the songs i wanted to learn how to play, sounds fun a couple classics but i really liked my wave and 4th of july as well
i blinked and my chores were finished! super groovy fun and also enjoyable to listen to, but one of those that you know is enjoyable and impressive at the same time must be the funk and nothing but the funk!
spunky, and i feel like this would be so enjoyable to listen to under any influence. def need to listen to more
vulgarity as artistic medium* YBA artists classic but it's interesting to think about how he used shock as a method of creating a name/style for himself, i also think the world/character building is just really interesting too fun in manic times for sure, also
love love some jazz, very springy and calm and pastel it's fun to listen to each part individually and see how they all fit together
wish i could rate something three and a half stars?? or like 3.75? good vibes for sure, i liked it a lot more than i typically do for something of this genre good tone of the geetars also tickles the brain just so
again, i wish i could rate this 3.75, it was really enjoyable and i love that it was a live recording, just hearing everyone talk in the background and hearing him introduce the band was so cool :)
very vibes and bluesy and reminds me of my dad, aside from the classic sultans of swing, more of a bop my head and have a soundtrack to life going on behind, i do like wild west end too though this is the OG twinkly noodling though, nice tone on the geetars
vibey, reminds me of my dad (again) also, drugs ! i'd say like 3.5, nice to have on in the back and some cool or pretty or funky or bluesy stuff
less heavy than i remember but i'm all about it, fun to dance to and also seems like it would be fun to play, 3.75 prob
had never heard of this artist before, but i really enjoyed it! atmospherically made me want to be sitting in a comfy chair contemplating life, pretty guitar maybe like 3.5?
good for atmosphere/ambience but hard for my brain to listen to without other stimulus, pretty fun stuff though this is like perfect background music and i mean that in a good way, maybe 3.5?
this is the album where i learned paul simon is the same guy as simon and garfunkel. so much makes sense now.
this is just a very full album if that makes sense, lots of layers and noises and different things to focus on also i've never really listened to that much snoop dogg it's interesting to hear
this is perfect for a manic main character bike ride at 1am, not that i did that at all, listening to this, but if i did i think that would be a great way to spend my time listening otherwise kinda gives general vibes, no big songs stuck out but pretty chill this one is actually just a solid 3 stars
this made me realize that i actually do care about production, and how things are mixed together, i don't dislike but also ugh i wish there was a pixies cover band that did pixies better than pixies
i think the fact that it took me weeks to get through this is evidence enough that i tried really hard to like it and it’s just not my favorite but i know it’s important and all that, just can’t get myself to enjoy that particular sound for so much of their music
the hatred i have for kanye stains any music of his i could listen to now unfortunately, but the people that are also on this album and the sample of king crimson does unfortunately eat. but honestly not even that good, there are better kanye songs and better music in general idk
so calming and the instrumentation/background parts are what bring everything together i feel like :) also reminds me of my childhood fs
overstimulated turns ascended, i’m always surprised at just how popular a band as experimental and politically radical as pink floyd got, always a fun listen and it just gets better as the album continues good stuff
meh if this was better it would be the type of music i would be excited to cover he said emblazoned once, that was cool
i was way more excited for this than i think i should have been, took so many tries to get through (which was partially me) but just not my fav kind of sound i think
good shit, i like this one more than the last i think he’s got such a cool voice and is a great guitar player, calm but light and enjoyable for sure yet again reminds me of my dad!
this is like married happy dad rock it feels so clean cut that it’s kind of weird to my ears but i don’t dislike it either it’s too happy for me, 3.5
grooovy and also hell yeah the sounds are very good to the brain and so is her voice and the words, solid 3.75
no notes this shit slaps
now here’s an album to listen to before i die
i really enjoyed this !! good mix of my favs types of genres and easy to listen to, lots of fun
this was a much more enjoyable mix of beach boys style but fun rock (ish) dang he really likes that girl tho
pretty cool! had some more interesting sounds and also vibes
maybe i do follow jesus
ah the brits pretty decent
yes i am biased and yes this album is also incredible
very enjoyable listen and impressive musical talent!! also just fun to listen to
i think i would have liked this more if i had not been actively listening to it? except for the one song that made me almost cry? idk?
if i was in a castle and the moon was out and i was also an immortal monster this would hit, but without the right atmosphere it’s kind of mid
very much enjoyed, albeit having very similar sounding tracks i still quite liked the listen through
if this man picks up a harmonica one more time my brain will burst, started off strong but by the end i couldn't wait for it to be over
