Excellent record. A debut that doesnt feel like a debut. Feels fully realized and exactly what the intention of the record was.

This was necessary. I respect Tommy immensely but I dont like it. I think this record, and all of its hits, was necessary for The Who. Covered on the Are You Listening? Podcast in 2025 as part of a draft of The Who's discography.

I dont love much 90s music aside from all the niche stuff that led to the creations of my favorite genres. That being said this didnt do anything to grab me, anything to hold me or anything to send me on my way pleased. Just a plodding, middling record to me. A shrug is sometimes worse than a dislike..

If post-punk/art-punk was a dirt race track in 1978 then this is the Daytona 500. This is excellent. What it lacks in anything it makes up for in vibe. I actually really enjoyed this.

This is a situation where id like a press release with every album I listen to. At first, it just sounded like a standard jazz record (to an untrained ear like myself) and then I did some reading and wow! This is excellent.

This is excellent. At times feels more R.E.M. than New Order but im good with that!

I think this may be a 10 record but I reserve the right to revisit notnso close to Ozzys death. RIP King

I don't claim to be a Loretta Lynn scholar, but I've listened to a few records and this isn't her best I dont think. Don't get wrong its good, I just think there's better of her out there.

Queen is probably the best rock band of all time but its not talked about enough how many showtunes their albums have. I love showtunes so its great, just not mentioned ever.

This is too long for me. At least in this genre and era. I dont love it so MORE of it isnt great for me. Theres some standouts like Green or Cool like Kim Deal, but it feels way too long.

The genre of this is "The Beatles". Eleanor Rigby is an all timer. Theres so much variation on this i feel like id need to start a thesis to get it all. Remembering this is 1966 makes it even more impressive.

This is very enjoyable. I dont know where the "psychedelic" part comes in, it just sounds like good folk. I like this.

Its an ABBA record, of course its at least GOOD. This isnt my favorite of theirs but its great.
