Big Bowie fan but I never really listen to this album, usually sticking to the albums before this.

I loved this album when it came out, surprised by how much I still like it. Great production, really complete album.
Here's the thing. I love heavy music. I enjoy a good amount of grunge and alt rock. I was never really a big AiC fan. I love the lyrics on this album. There are some really good songs. There are also some songs that I absolutely cannot stand. Musically, it lands in a spot that just isn't very appealing to me. Not heavy enough but also not very catchy. I realize this is heresay for many people. But, again, the 3-4 songs I like on this album are very good.
Great album. Not my absolute favorite talking heads albums but extremely good. Byrne's "alien anthropologist" lyrics are at an all time high on this one

Nothing to say that hasn't been said. It is astonishing that Dylan was 22 years old when this was released. Incredible. I've listened to it hundreds of times and I'm not done yet.
