Feel like this was a compilation of music that an artist/band would create on their journey to an actual album, lots of experimental noise and could perhaps be interesting to hear the process alongside a more exciting album, but probably not something you'd release into the wild without context.
Easy listening, many different instrument solos throughout the album. A lot slower than what I usually enjoy and actually sent my son to sleep.
Great opening, album felt like a proper musical journey from epic to more relaxed songs like Crime of The Century. Not every song was for me but appreciated the whole album nonetheless
Good beats overall. Some of the songs have great rap and messages, whereas other seem long and repetitive.
Very funky opening with "The Urban Theme", but as the album progressed I thought it became way too chill/relaxed. The funk is still present in most songs, but the general tempo of the album could've sent me to sleep - feel like I've just listened to an hours worth of elevator music, which isn't my cup of tea.
Few strong songs here at the beginning, particularly enjoyed The Village Green Preservation Society, Last of the Steam-Powered Trains and Picture Book. However, felt the rest of the album petered off toward the end.
As a massive fan of The Prodigy already I've listened to this album countless times back to back. Great pacing throughout, from fast-paced bangers like Breathe, Firestarter and Smack my Bitch Up to the slightly more relaxed Mindfields and Narayan. Easy 5 stars.
Great recommendation, never heard of Little Richard before and what an album to open with. Feel good music that makes you want to dance with some fantastic vocals.
Ok if you want to listen to a grunge rock album. "100%" seemed an OK song, and generally some good guitar through most of the album. I was very put off of the female vocalists voice through most of the songs, but it seemed less strained and more palatable in "JC"
