The Afghan WhigsIm not super into the grunge sound. I enjoyed the music much more than the vocal melodies. Very heavy on bass. Last song on the album(has no vocals) was my favorite.

This one was pretty good! I'm not super into the genre. But there were moments I was bobbing my head and such. I really enjoyed the saxophone solos across the album. 5/10. Maybe 6/10 on a second listen.
A very strange album... I can't say I fully enjoyed it. Maybe I'm not cultured enough to get how artistic it is? There were a few okay songs. But also a few songs that had me wondering what the fuck I was listening to.
It was a fun listen while me and the boys had a board game day. 7/10

I can also see why it was a popular album 7/10 for me Notable songs: Live Forever, Columbia, Slide Away, and Married with Children. I got really sick of how long the songs were. 5-6 minutes on average
I really liked this a lot. But I didn't expect to. I love his voice and the sing-talky style of vocals. The messages in the songs felt personal to him, and that helped me in connecting with them.
Its a classic sounding Sabbath album that has plenty of focus on the guitarist. It's not the most memorable album to me. But I enjoyed my listen through. Notable Songs ||Changes, Snowblind, Laguna Sunrise||
Loved this album. It's synth sound along with Karen's voice really scratch the right itch in my brain. I do wish that Karen would sometimes like... just let out a bold loud note. That would make a song stand out to me a bit.
Rating: 9/10 Review: I went in with 0 expectation, and this was amazing. It was like discovering the source of so many catchy riffs and melodies from several different songs. And considering this is the 18th album?? That's nuts. It seems like every song experimented with a new sound, instrument, or concept that continuously had me curious as to what was coming next. This was awesome. Great album. I see why he gets as much praise as he does. Notable Songs: Have a Talk with God, Contusion, Isn't She Lovely, Black Man, Ebony Eyes, and Easy Going Evening
This was a chill listen. Enjoyed it on a drive to a buddies. Probably won't come back, but didn't hate my time with it.
