It's A Shame About Ray by The Lemonheads
Jun 28 2025

Not really my jam. A bit like REM. It’s fine. Liked the lyrics

Cosmo's Factory by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Jun 30 2025

Classic. Lodge of great ones. Grapevine is a cool 11 min. Some think too long. Just right. lol.

Power In Numbers by Jurassic 5
Jul 01 2025

Rap is not my thing. Loved the bass though on title track

Sticky Fingers by The Rolling Stones
Jul 02 2025

Oh fuck. This is one of the greatest album of all time. Waiting on a Doug Sax remaster LP to hit my mailbox

Feast of Wire by Calexico
Jul 04 2025

Great stuff. World music with lots of pop sensibilities. Great harmonies.

Thriller by Michael Jackson
Jul 05 2025

Crazy to think this is first listen. I’ve heard the big tracks, but a lot I had not. Its got the 80s over produced stuff. Too much synth for me. Human nature is kinda cool. Toto song really. Tenderoni is pretty weird from PYT. Wow 70 million copies. That like one in 4 people buying it in the us.

Jul 06 2025

Not the best of ray in my opinion. I’m much more into the blues stuff from 1961. Year I was born. I gave a few tracks. Gimmi the blues anytime

John Prine by John Prine
Jul 10 2025

One of my favorite albums of all time. This one is just fantastic.

The Rise & Fall by Madness
Jul 11 2025

Not available on Qubuz. Kinda weird. Not totally into it.

Melodrama by Lorde
Jul 12 2025

Just ok. I guess I’m just too old.

Sea Change by Beck
Jul 13 2025

Love it so far. Never given this a listen. Gonna shoot for all the way through

Jul 14 2025

I like it. It’s kinda folky, different. Easy to listen to. Nostalgic. Like the reviewer said, it nostalgic for a world that maybe never existed, excepted in Rays mind.

Band On The Run by Paul McCartney and Wings
Jul 15 2025

Best McCartney album. Good tracks. Typical vintage Paul.

Tubular Bells by Mike Oldfield
Jul 16 2025

Classic. Love it. 40 min is a bit much though.

Countdown To Ecstasy by Steely Dan
Jul 17 2025

Ok. Now we’re talking. Second album from these guys. Every track is good. Your Gold Teeth has a great guitar solo. Can’t wait to relisten.

Bongo Rock by Incredible Bongo Band
Jul 18 2025

Liked it. Had a 70s sound that I like. Great drums.

Superunknown by Soundgarden
Jul 20 2025

Just ok. Not my jam. I’m old I guess.

World Clique by Deee-Lite
Jul 21 2025

Grove is in the heart is cool. The rest is ok it’s all got a good groove.

Paranoid by Black Sabbath
Jul 24 2025

It’s not a radical as it was then. Good drums. Ozzie is just Ozzie.

american dream by LCD Soundsystem
Jul 25 2025

Synth pop music. Lots of manufactured beats and stuff. Talent for sure. Not my kind of thing. Good to dance to.

Nevermind by Nirvana
Jul 26 2025

Classic album. Heard the first 3 tracks. Gonna try and listen all the way through

On The Beach by Neil Young
Jul 27 2025

Great. Loved every track on first sode

Space Ritual by Hawkwind
Jul 28 2025

Crazy stuff. Don’t really like it.

Daydream Nation by Sonic Youth
Jul 30 2025

Ambient music as far as I’m concerned. Probably need to listen closer. Just not sure I want to. The Sprawl was kinda noise

Ill Communication by Beastie Boys
Aug 01 2025

I don’t know what it is, but some rap music. It’s just never gonna reach me. I suppose I should try more. But it just doesn’t do it for me. And I think the beasties are among the best.

Transformer by Lou Reed
Aug 02 2025

Glam rock. Lou Reed has a style, but musicality isn’t his thing I guess. It’s got something. Good use of rhythm guitar.

Joan Armatrading by Joan Armatrading
Aug 03 2025

A little poppy. Like the rythum. Kenny Jones on drums. Glen Johns produced. Listened to 4 or 5 tracks.

Broken English by Marianne Faithfull
Aug 04 2025

80s synth pop. Not my thing at all.

Talking Book by Stevie Wonder
Aug 05 2025

Funky beat. Great synth. Normally don’t like it. He has a great soulful voice. It’s a little too poppy. Love to hear him do more bluesy stuff. Superstitious is a classic. Nice beat, grove, sax and synth. Big Brother is kinda cool. Great acoustic guitar. Jeff Beck plays on a track near the end

Loveless by My Bloody Valentine
Aug 06 2025

Indi pop. Not my thing. Too much electronica

Hot Fuss by The Killers
Aug 08 2025

Duran Duran kinda sound

Deja Vu by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young
Aug 09 2025

Perfect hippy album. Curious to note only a few tracks were done together

Nebraska by Bruce Springsteen
Aug 21 2025

Really stripped down. Like it a lot. Great song writing. Lots of feeling, super intimate.
