RIP Ozzy Osbourne first of all. Paranoid was pretty good, but I need to listen to this another time.
Some of these tracks are pretty awesome. I need to listen to the full album.
Has some good hits. Haven’t listened completely.
Easily one of the best albums I’ve listened to. I’ve listened to this album so many times, and I really like the hidden meanings of the lyrics. All 12 tracks are really great, but my favorites are: “Paranoid Android,” “Exit Music (For a Film),” “Karma Police,” “Fitter Happier,” “Electioneering,” “No Surprises,” and “The Tourist.” 5 stars. I would give 10 if I wanted to.
There’s 3 songs that I like from this album: “You Oughta Know,” “Hand In My Pocket,” and “Ironic.” These songs are really great, and I hope the rest of the album’s good. Unable to listen to it now, but I will soon.
Bike’s a great and silly song. Didn’t listen completely, but I heard it’s a great debut album for one of the greatest prog-rock bands of all time.
Has 2 great songs that I like. “Heart of Glass” is a great New Wave song, and “One Way or Another” is a classic song. Will need to listen to this sometime…
Definitely a 10/10 album for me. Banger from start to finish. Favorite Tracks: “Back In The USSR,” “Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da,” “Happiness Is A Warm Gun,” “Piggies,” “Rocky Raccoon,” “Julia,” “Yer Blues,” “Helter Skelter,” “Long, Long, Long,” “Revolution 1,” “Honey Pie,” “Revolution 9 (controversially),” and “Good Night.” Very diverse album from the Fab Four. LOVE IT!
I’ve heard of this album, but I haven’t fully listened to it yet. “The Cisco Kid” is a great song and is a good way to kick off the album.
This is easily a great album. 10/10 for me. SOYCD is a great tribute to Syd Barrett, and Have a Cigar is a great bop about the evil sides of record companies. Overall, Pink Floyd made an album just as good as the Dark Side of the Moon.
From what I heard, a great record. Some of the tracks sounded a lot of pre-Grunge with Black Francis’s screams and loudness.
I listened to this one awhile ago. Has some great songs! “War Pigs,” “Paranoid,” and “Iron Man” are the best on there.
2 classic songs on this album: “It’s the End of the World as We Know It (And I Feel Fine)” and “The One I Love,” the latter reminding me of the Smiths.
A great album! 10/10, the finest hour for Pink Floyd. All of the songs on there are really great and tell a great story. I’m glad that there was a film adaptation of the album, and it did not disappoint!
“Rainy Day Women #12 & 35” is a great opener that gives off a good vibe to start off the album.
Has a lot of GREAT tracks. Hit after hit for most of the album. I haven’t listened to some of the songs. “Cherub Rock” is very energetic and has a great buildup. Tracks 3-6 are a great lineup. “Today” is an ironic track that I related to, “Hummer” sounds like a Jane’s Addiction song like from Ritual De Lo Habitual and “Drown” from a couple years earlier, “Rocket” is a great track, and “Disarm” is a good break from the energetic performances of Corgan, Iha, Chamberlin, and Wretzky. “Mayonnaise” is a slow, but energetic track, and I know I listened to “Silverfuck” awhile back, but I don’t remember it that much. I will listen to the full album soon…
GREAT album. Used to listen to it all the time.
“Kashmir” is a great song. Haven’t listened to this album yet, but Led Zeppelin IV is a great album, which I have on vinyl.
Has a couple of great songs. I need to relisten to this.
