Fiona Apple78/100 incredible to be fair, always loved my jazz and recently due to artists like quadeca i've loved modern art pop, so to see some of its roots are incredible, inspiring me to listen to more from her in the future 1000%

72/100 insanely gothic and brooding, im really interested in this sound this is the first gothic rock album ive ever listened to and it makes me want to check out more of the subgenre and the cure in general
69/100 pretty fun to listen to, love the instrumental bridges and the intro very much, you can feel the atmosphere in the theatre, one of the most influential live performances of all time but musically isnt anything crazy
83/100 absolutely incredible, love the story, love the music, love the message, the metaphor of all of these events being bricks in his wall is an incredible metaphor, i love the trial it just all wraps up so perfectly but i wish we just had one more song detailing his life after the wall was broken down. pink's wall is gone guys! is that why she wrote just give me a reason? idk, i did some research on this album and a lot of it was based off of roger waters and syd barretts personal experiences which is pretty cool
69/100 pretty good tbf, fell off towards the middle but picked back up right at the end, i prefer the 2003 reissue, especially with the there was a time/ raw ramp / electric boogie mashup b side that would be my fav track on this if it was the 2003 edition top three tracks: 1. rip off 2. mambo sun 3. cosmic dancer worst tracks: 1. get it on 2. planet queen 3. girl
69/100 pretty fun but can drag on at times, third 69 in a row now lmaoo. some tracks did drag on and when i saw the tracklist of five songs i was a bit surprised
77/100 pretty good, all songs have been saved to my jazz playlist, better than back at the chicken shack placement: 5th out of 7 albums / 5/7
65/100 pretty boring at the start but gets better the further you go into it, some incredible writing on some songs, didn't care for the medley though
71/100 first venture into real classic hip hop roots, it sounded exactly how i thought it would surprisingly but was still pretty good and enjoyable, pretty influential too so that's a bonus, love their attitude on this album
79/100 absolutely incredible, makes me wanna listen to more glam rock and more foxy music in general, probably my third favourite albim from this project so far
65/100 a very mixed bag of quality, some absolute stinkers and some bangers in here, unfortunately might be the worst album so far tho other than glam parsons' grievous angel
65/100 day 12 of 1089 albums, pretty good but one of the lowest points of this project for me so far, quite hit and miss overall, the expanded edition with 4 extra songs isn't necessary at all i think the original version is fair enough. the instrumental tracks are 1000% the best ones on this project which is quite weird because i think that his voice carries this project for the most part
83/100 second best album from this project, i love every single song from it and now i really wanna listen to more from the national
60/100 this is probably the weirdest album ive listened to so far, but not in a bad way, the first track was 23 minutes and i was kinda dreading it but overall it felt much shorter and didn't keep me too bored throughout it . the two kometenmelodies were a bit boring however and mitternacht wasn't anything special but i quite liked morgenspaziergang. overall, the worst album ive listened to so far but not due to a lack of quality, just a lack of entertainment, talent is shown here and i can appreciate it but in my opinion they go 2/5 here and one of the two is 23 minutes long and i probably won't revisit it much, if at all. replay value on this album is little to none in my opinion but the experience as a whole - pretty good, can just drag on for a while
63/100 drags on a bit, occasionally boring but pretty good at times
82/100 one thing i think is weird is that i prefer the streaming version over the physical version which is very very rare for me but overall, this is an incredible album, mr. brightside and somebody told me are uk classics and have slated the killers into british music history, and music history in general. on top of that, the two closers to the album, depending on which versions you go to, everything will be alright and glamorous indie rock & roll (not the record version that's abysmal) are both also 10/10's and show peak the killers for me. they went 12/12 on this album and there are only two songs i would say i have issues with and that's the record version of glamorous indie rock & roll because it truly is just a demo lmaooo but not the good kind that shows potential it just makes me distrust the streaming version despite the fact i've listened to it countless times and know it's insane quality. the only other song i'd have an issue with is change your mind, it doesn't feel like a hot fuss song necessarily, it sounds like midnight show had a baby during an affair with blur and they just tagged onto the hot fuss family, if you get what i mean. but other than that, this is a nearly perfect album to me, one that i'd heard previous to this project and can 1000% say that it deserves a spot on this list and is one that really will be hard to top for me. maybe it'll take a year on this project to pull one out that tops it lol
68/100 has a couple of stinkers but for the most part is pretty good, lots of influence in here and obviously went into this project already knowing we're going to be friends and luckily i didn't leave it thinking it was the best song, i thought that was the union forever
74/100 not a crazy amount of music actually here, just a handful of songs, some being quite long nothing crazily special takes place in this record but that's okay you don't always need that, sometimes you just need good music that you can enjoy in nearly every setting, and that's what this is
62/100 ALL THE LEAVES WERE BROOWNNNN this album was just kinda boring, half of it was mid, half of it was decent, california dreamin was unfortunately the best song and the only reason i say unfortunately is because 1. the song itself isn't that great and 2. it breaks the trend of my albums having popular tiktok sounds in them and they were never the best song until this. flip you the mamas and the papas. but in all seriousness, this album is bland af i wouldnt even say its not my cup of tea it was just too repetitive towards the back half
87/100 3rd elite pull from this, incredible album man idek what to say about it, just absolutely incredible
65/100 didn't really get the appeal to this, pretty boring and every song other than the opening and closer tracks sound exactly the same lmaoo
75/100 pretty good, feeling quite ill at the minute so not had the greatest listening experience due to that lollll so when im feeling better ill come back to this album and see if this fever i have was affecting my thoughts on it, dying rn but other than that this record was pretty fun and upbeat, was nice to listen to the origin of some pretty popular songs and instrumentation and her voice is pretty fun, but i found it to be getting staler by the song around halfway through, great 3 track run of it's too late, home again and beautiful tho. smackwater jack is a stinker tbh
71/100 pretty good, some of it gets a bit boring but a lot of it is really good
78/100 my introduction to metallica, very good, still ill asf and cant write a proper review to save my life
75/100 some incredible songs and the rest is just pretty good
74/100
