1001 Albums Summary

Wow, what a start. I didn't know what to expect as I don't listen to britpop a lot (a few songs by Oasis and Blur, but that's it). This blew me away. Liking it a lot on first listen. 4/5 maybe even 4.5

Okay, nothing special.

Decent album with some great songs, and also some not so great songs. Probably the last good Metallica album, I don't think they have put out anything decent since. Knowing what they did in the first 4 albums, I can't rate this higher than 3.

Can appreciate it, but not a big fan. Not my type of post-punk.

Finally got to listen to some Steely Dan. I liked this album, can't wait to listen more from them.

Too long.. some good songs on it but it's too damn long. Liking the second part more.

The best thrash metal album.

Amazing debut.

Listening as it was originally released on vinyl (double album (2 LPs) + Apple jam as extra LP), not the spotify version. Apple jam would bring the score down a bit for me, but I consider it as extra and not part of the album, that's why this gets a 5 from me.

Prog classic.

3.5 - cool stuff, gets a bit repetitive

4.5 - Don't have to say much about this album that hasn't been said yet. It's the turning point for The Beatles. From this album and onwards they are on a totally different level. There are a few songs that prevent me from giving it a 5.
