The Wall
Pink FloydThis is the ultimate classic. It is still so current in its originality and story-telling. Definitely a must-hear.

It was approrpriate for the time as a pseudo-indie rock band vibe. Not necessarily my preferred style of music, but in any case, a solid listen.
not for me
Not for me... didn't like it when it first came out, still not my thing.
LOVE this... a complete classic. An anthem to kids in the US who grew up in the late 80s.
That unique soulful, rich voice of a classic American diva. A total pleasure.
meh...
another classic... definitly the 80s vibe that was great background party music.
Not the best Cure album, but the Cure is one of the best. The outlet for 80's angst.
half the songs are good, the other way too Casio
An album everyone MUST have in their collection. The ideal chill evening...
Anyone who grew up in the USA during the 80s... this is one of those albums we all have in our CD collection.
The voice... that Erykah voice. Unbelievable.
Although not all tunes really good, some really vulgar and kinda over-the-top as far as obscenity goes, this is a CLASSIC West Coast rap work, one that started its branch from NYC rap (WuTang, Busta, etc.)... this is the West Coast album that stood up to Biggy and started the "rivalry" -- Gin & Juice is probably one of the most sampled hooks in rap history, Serial Killa a big one too. You can love it, you can hate it, but there's no denying that it is a hands-down, must-listen-to-at-least-once classic for rap culture. The longevity of Snoop is also impressive, and it was this album that started it all for him. The MTV video is worth seeing. Silly and goofy by today's measure, but serious "gangsta" for the time.
A mix of 70s rock, sort of like a country or folky version of Jethro Tull, but not nearly as good--and no flute but guitar. Same sort of vibe, though, would work on a Jethro Tull / 70's folk rock playlist.
Just not my kind of music.
LOVE LOVE LOVE... classic Radiohead
Who can't love this??
