Seminal rap some good ones but the lyrics aren't really relatable to me
Interesting but not my jam
Pretty good
Hypnotic night time music
Classic Jazz vocalist enjoyed the feel and atmosphere of the first few songs but not a lot of variety as the songs have a sameness and I lost interest by the end. Very distinctive singer.
This is a very ragged record. Neil on drugs and depressed at the deaths of friends makes for a sad record with some good songs. Title tune is great as is C'mon Baby Let's Go Downtown.
80's pop with some catchy tunes great vocals
Classic R&B
I couldn't get past the first three 'songs' Not for me
Whiny vocals kind of punky with some Sabbath vibes amateur drummer I can’t support a band without a bass player (except the Doors and they eventually used one)
Robot 'music' good for elevators and grocery stores
Some good heavy tunes
Pretty bland I don't understand the appeal of this band
Toe tappin' Nigerian world beat this is why I joined this group good to hear music that I wasn't aware of good stuff
I know this is considered a metal classic but I've never liked this band. Whiny vocals boring guitar .5/5
The Clash's best record demonstrating their transition from punk to ska. London Calling, Spanish Bombs, Clampdown so many good songs. If you want to get into the Clash this would be a good start.
I might have liked this when I was 16 but I guess I'm getting old...really wasn't interested in this one until about halfway through. Two or three decent toons without the screamy vocals were actually not bad. Partly hard core punk and partly not.
Fun 80s pop lots of keyboards and reverb
Great first album If David Bowie and Talking Heads gave birth to a band
The jaunty melodies hide Morrissey's dark lyrics....Girlfriend in a Coma is made so creepy by the light melody and the laid back laconic vocals
Snotty bratty band with some catchy tunes
Maestro Fresh Wes vibes
Toe tappin' southern rock I think this will grow on me 3.5/5
Great vocals some great songs (Eli's Coming) that you have no doubt heard by others very upbeat record
Airy vocals lots of 12 string guitar mellow
Classic folkie Dylan great songs
My first NY album a classic a must have for any NY fan
I didn't like T.Rex back then and I still don't just a bunch of meh
For those who love old time REAL country not the crap you hear today.
