1001 Albums Summary

Burn the Witch was good. For the rest I would call it minstrel music. I can see how it was far out in its heyday, like a hipster version of a more toned down hippie Led Zeppelin. Overall I was just kind of bored with it.

This is a good one. Makes you feel like you're hanging out in the subway even tho you have no intention of riding the train. In the best way possible.

A bit of a snoozer compared to other Beck albums but I can understand why people like it. Some good songs but none that I'd specifically come back for. The whole is better than the sum of its parts.

Maybe it's personal taste but all the songs on this album started to sound the same to me. I got a little bored and sleepy

I can see why people like(d) Bob Dylan, and this isn't very Minnesotan of me, but this album and most of his music just doesn't sound good to my ears.

I do like the Smiths. Compared to their other stuff this album is... fine.

If this is the top 1001 albums this one has to be #1001

Superstition is great. The rest is a little repetitive and just ok.

This one was not for me

I never gave these guys the credit they deserved after seeing their song was so early in the Guitar Hero set list. Could be there's extra charm of this being a live album

This one got old quick for me. I'm beginning to think I only like the idea of The Smiths and their music is just ok

It's fine. It's just not at the level where I'd be excited to tell anyone about or listen to again.

It's a half hour of stock sounding jazz to me. Maybe that means it's good.
