1001 Albums Summary

M.I.A. sampled "Ghost Rider" in "BORN FREE"! It was cool to hear the original and make the connection. The album sounds minimal but somehow still dense and heavy - the synths are raw and you can almost hear where the loops end and start again. Overall, I ended up really enjoying it. The themes of social isolation, decay, and suicide still feel relevant today, and it echoed a lot of things I've been feeling lately.

I've listened to this album many times before. Not much to say, simply great.

This went hard in high school. After a while the music gets repetitive and the rapping is kinda cringe to be honest

I haven't looked too deep into the lyrics, but the whole album seems to be about Eminem beefing with his critics, fantasizing about killing his girlfriend due to jealousy or something, and telling faggots to suck his dick. Kinda funny.

Kinda boring. "This, this is our new song Just like the last one A total waste of time"

Another boring generic 60s rock album? Who'd have guessed 🙄

I'm just happy I got some electronic music off of this list again. These guys burned a million pounds apparently, pretty cool.
