Roxy Music by Roxy Music
Dec 11 2025

Not sure what genre this really fits into. Not my speed and a hard listen for me. I gave it a real try, but just couldn't connect to the songs and the music was all over the place. I am sure this was ahead of their time for 1972, but just not my cup of tea.....no groove at all.

I'm a bit biased on this one. I grew up listening to Bowie. Bowie was my older sister's favorite artists, and one that kicked off my musical tastes. This album has a few hits that have stood the test of time along with some other great tunes like "hang on to yourself" that you don't really hear a lot about unless you are a die hard Bowie fan. For the early 70's this was genre changing stuff and just a great overall listen.

War by U2
Dec 15 2025

Solid album end to end. Back when this was released Iwas much more into the metal scene. I didnt add a copy of this into my collection until years later but remember hearing Sunday Bloody Sunday on MTV, I hit up some friends for a full listen and liked it way back when. This is the first time in many years I have listened to this release from begining to end, and it still holds up. Excellent socially charged groove, good stuff.

Soul Mining by The The
Dec 16 2025

I just didnt enjoy this album at all. It bored me end to end. I figure this band used up all of its creativity when it came up with the name for the band. Not good.

We're Only In It For The Money by The Mothers Of Invention
Dec 17 2025

This album was complete crap. I don't even know how this is categorized; as music. If I could give is 0 stars I would.

Murder Ballads by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Dec 18 2025

Not a fan, just more weird stuff.

The Who Sell Out by The Who
Dec 19 2025

Not a lot of musically redeeming qualities on this album outside of one or two songs. It's another weird album and I don't appreciate the attempts at humor.

Paranoid by Black Sabbath
Dec 22 2025

Classic Sabbath cuts, album is raw and great end to end. Nuff said.

Deja Vu by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young
Dec 23 2025

Overall a good listen end to end. Couple of songs are a little too folksy feel good tunes for my tastes but overall musically and lyrically well done.

Either Or by Elliott Smith
Dec 24 2025

When critics start labeling releases as creative/artistic yada yada I cringe. Apparently this album has gotten a lot of high marks, I don't like it at all, unless the intended use was to cure insomnia.
