1001 Albums Summary

Day one was a two CD set. Not every song was a winner but there were some great pieces in it. Will return to this eventually.

I grew up listening to this album from my mother who also used to play it on the piano.

Classic Beatles album. It's mostly all hits, and nothing new for me.

This was a really interesting listen. I truly didn't know this punk sound existed in 1980. Many bands I listened to in the 90s were obviously heavily influenced by albums like this.

Initially I thought I was a female band, and I was very confused when I saw their new album being two men. I overall enjoyed the album, but it didn't stand out.

It was very much The Beatles... but with more tongue and cheek. Some styles of the songs differed greatly, but overall an enjoyable trek.

I enjoyed it as background music, but this album didn't have many songs that really had any umph.

It's everything you expect from a Rage Against the Machine album. Some great hits. Some deep cuts.

I have never listened to motorhead, only knew them by name. I knew of some of the tracks, and this was a great album. I felt the mix on the live show was a little rough at times, but solid album.

It didn't stand out to me, but I enjoyed it. It played in the background at least two times.

It's amazing when you can hear music you've never heard before and pinpoint almost the exact year it came out.

It's a little too easy listening for me.
