my first generated Album and I already had to learn not to beginn by looking at other reviews.
Overall this piece seems to be very funky. I have to say it lacks musical variety and bores me a bit. It should be clear though, even if I prefer a different type of music, funk is not a problem here. Considering it was released in 1982 this must have stricken like a lightning due to that experimental sound. I don't feel the need to add any song to my playlists.
I mentioned not to start with other reviews, that is because when I got this album on screen and started listening to it, I expected a funky peace of music. I glimpsed at the other reviews and they mentioned the connections to sexual activities. That grosed the frick out of me and I immediatly got a negative bias.
I don't feel the need to add any song to my playlists.
I would not want to buy this Album in physical form.
I like to rate things 0-10 because I can say that 5 is average. And I will rate 1999 by Prince a 4/10!
I never had a listen on the miseducation of Lauren Hill but never the less I've only heard good about it.
This record provides a big and colorfull soundpicture. Sometimes it sounds like a rap album but sometimes not. For me personally, I'm not that big of a rap fan, if there is not a significant melodic part in the song. However, it turns out listening to this record is very satisfying. It offers those melodies that feel sweet to the ears as if my ears where eating honey.
At the end of some songs there is a little talking part, I suppose those are recordings from some kind of function.
I personally would acquire this album in physicle form, if given the possibility.
I'd like to rate this album a 8,5/10!
Never heard anything about this artist or album.
Seems to be a classical rock album as it was known in the 70s. I enjoy listening to it but not in a cheering way like I would listen to other songs I like. This older type of albums are better when listened from start to end. To me personally no song really sticks out to be special or unique. Its more the ambient that this music offers. And that would be enough for me to buy it in physical form. I also like the fact that its only 30 Minutes, I see that length in other 70s works too. Why not listen to it again? If I don't forget to and the time is right im in! I'll give this a 7/10!
Never heard a single Song from the Doors. I expect the usual 70s rock songs.
While listening I got to say that the Singer really has a strong singer voice. I didn't expects to hear this much grit in a 70s voice. Adding on to the good sides of the record, I think that the organ really fits and belongs to the band. As I already said in a prior review, there is no 'stick out' Song with those classic 70s rock records. However it manages to create some kind of ambient.
I would maybe for the right price get this album in physical form.
7/10! (if 5-6 is average)
Never heard them before.
I expected classic rock, however what I got in the end is kind of different. I don't like the singing, I think it sounds too squeaky. It simply doesn't sound skillfull nor good to the ears.
Other then in Marque Moon the Instrumental music is not really pleasing either.
I just feel like I would rather listen to the other classic 70s rock albums.
I'll give it a 4/10!
I have to start by saying that I really like Led Zeppelin. However I never dove really deep into their works.
I feel blessed hearing the creativity in those songs. Overall I would never guess the release date of that album to be'69. I really wonder how this album was greeted like in '69.
Already listening to the second song, where the singers voice shines through. What a wonderfull singing voice. I really like the mixture of squeek and grit in his voice.
Honestly the song lenth of some of the songs doesnt bother me, as long as I'm listening to the record as a whole.
I have to say I love this piece, but how am I going to rate it?
If I consider that it came out in 1969 it would easily be a 10/10. But But But since then a lot happened (Creed and Nickelback) so it will be 8,5/10 (4stars)!
I'm happy I got Led Zeppelin before any beattles Album. I think the beattles are not good!
Wow '67 is very long ago! I listened to JH before but lets see what this record has got to offer.
I dont want to glaze JH just becaue he is good with the guitar so Im just going to be honest with him.
As I currently listen to the record I have to say, it sounds pretty normal nothing special. Ofcourse little wing is wonderfull but that's pretty much it.
Im not mad, Im just beeing real, it sounds like an average listening experience.
I'll give it a 5/10 (3stars)
I dont know what to expect, but its probably going to be some classic ahh rock.
Yea this is pretty bad. I wish someone on this platform had the opportunity to explain why this shouldnt be considered the bottom of music.
I cant stand this guys voice damn.
This reminds me of the danger of buying music you dont know. But thanks to this website I know now to stay away from this dudes.
easy 1 star 2,5/10
So I'm currently listening to it and I can't tell why it's considered so special. Must be British people glazing themselves again :/. It's something I would put on for background noise, just for someone else to ask if we can put on real music.
People who listen to this and the beatles probably hate on nickelback. They won't let us have cool things, damn.
Nevertheless it's listenable, it surely isn't bad music, just to be clear. It's just obviously average to my ears.
5/10
feels like Im listening to slop. Wth is this bruh?
How am I suppose to enjoy this?
Waste of electricity.
1star
I know the mothership song from gta v. I love it!
I love this album it creates a cozy and chill ambient. I just think the cover art is kinda off :/.
I like it in a 4/5 stars way!
There ain't much more to talk about it since the music is so repetetiv.
just another classic rock album. REALLY nothing special.
I want to give it a 3/5 because it was pretty boring overall!
I also dont like the cover tbh.
this record is nice and calm, pretty much what I need for now!
However its pretty much between 3 and 4 Im gonna let it be at 3!
its just so mid what should i say? Sometimes ok sometimes not -\(-_-)/-
I feel like white stripes is a type of song people listen to when they want to hear "rock" music.
3/5
I was annoyed at first but this is better than average!
Rather this than the beattles.
4/5
Frik! All the trash talking cought up to me.
Damn why is there 7 of those at least got one out the way 1/7.
At first I expected unseasoned boiled chicken, however turns out it actually IS listenable.
By the way before writing I glimpsed at the reviews just so I can see HOW MANY people rated this album. It becomes pretty clear there is something off. As of Today 24.000 people rated this. the album I was give for yesterday only had 17.000. I view it often that there aremore reviews on popular records. (not how randomnes works)
Buddy are we serious?
You start this project to skip to your favourit beatles album? Are these 7.000 people even grown ups? And why does yellow submarine have this many listens on spotify what am I missing?
So as I've said, its listenable but that's about the bare minimum you gotta produce for the seventh album after a career. At this point they should be able to hire producers who are able to music.
Over a THOUSAND albums, seven of those beattles BUT 0 Creed and = Nickelback ones. Ok I looked it up I thought there was a bit Nickelback but there is actually none...damn. How can you make a list do like on Alice in chains and put 7 beatles inside DAMN!
3/5
This record feels so refreshing to listen to. I remember hearing some of those songs on radio while I was working a pretty borring job though.
What a nice thing to listen to.
Easily better than average but nothing groundbreaking.
Damn I really want to say this is boring.
Its that lame sort of cozy. It feels forced in some ways.
2/5
Love the cover art and that the music sounds as expected.
I feel so free while listening to this record. Maybe because I had the best sleep in months. I sleeped almost exactly 12 hours. Maybe I just miss summer. :3
5/5
This is what i imagine „cool“ to sound like. I think this is way better than N.W.A.
Tpmosm. I dont liek a lot of what i am hearing here. It give off the wrong vibe. What kind of sick people listen to this?
I recently bought this record on cd. Yeah, it’s pretty fun! However nothing special
I trully believe that you have to learn to like this type of 50s music. Every song sound so similar but i guess its ok?! Gotta go with a boring answer like 3/5
Yes, ofcourse every sucker recording music owes his skill to this richard guy because obviously.
first songs sounds like a flat field with nothing special on it.
This sounds so mediocre. I would rate it a 6/10.
Its a bit better than just average
forgetable
this is so catchy! I wanna have it. 5/5
Doesnt feel british at all!
this is and iron maden is the type of music people expect you hear when you tell them you listen to rock or metal. Funny enough AC/DC is one of the bands I listened when starting to listen to music.
However, I have to admit that this album has many hits in it isnt that bad 4/5.
