1001 Albums Summary

It is really beautiful, the raw vocals and emotion gave me the chills.

Amazing vocals, that are not for everyone but notheless it’s worth the try. This album feels powerful, sincere and vulnerable at the same time in a way that hasn’t aged. No wonder why it’s considered a classic.

Pretty catchy and overall good

The way it starts and ends it’s just amazing. “Bluebird” and “Nineteen Hundred and Eighty Five” are my personal favorites.

This dreamlike chords are nothing like I´ve heard before. Not life changing, but still very nostalgic.

It’s such a vibe, pretty good and groovy

In terms of lyricism, I thought it was pretty good, and therefore I understand why it's on this list. However, “Family Tree” was the only song that stuck with me.

One of the most dynamic and fun electronic dance albums that I've heard

I love the unconventionality of The Velvet Undergound.

The rythm, chords and theatrical/literary conceptual references works so well with the overall excentricty of Kate Bush. It’s really remarkable how she could make an album so immaculate and influential in every sense of the word. For me, this is a definition of the perfect album: not necessarily one with zero skips, but one that stucks with you forever.

Must have been slightly progressive if not average for its time, since the psychedelic rock has been a huge thing over the sixties with more inffluences than just The Velvet Underground. It´s not bad, but it doesn´t speak anything to me.

This was so refreshing to hear

An album so introspective, multifaceted, and beautifically harmonized

I must say that I appreciate the special trademark sound that my bloody valentine has, that makes them really recognizable amongst other shoegaze bands. In general, this album really consolidates their sound and overall is pretty good. Best songs: "only tomorrow", "is this and yes", "new you"

Super chill listen

Solid, fun and and encapsulates the grunge spirit. Favorite songs: "Cecilia Ann", "Is she weird"

banger after banger and it improved my mood! i will always understand prince hype

Karen Carpenter's voice is angelical

Maybe it's not their best, but it was enjoyable and catchy

Very strong album with iconic songs

This album is just perfect and yet I wasn't expecting it to be on this list. All the songs work as a love letter to the genre.

I don’t know what I was expecting, but this album turned out to be overall pretty good. Definitely I’m going to listen more.

such a lovely record

This was captivating and it made me feel nostalgic

Love you forever, Amy.
