Classic. Wonderful to revisit.

This was a sweet one with hidden gems, alongside some classic favorites.

Neil being Neil. I don't like this, but can see how it inspired other artists.

A little upbeat for my mood (I was sick)

I liked the instrumental components of this album. It felt spacious, fun. I really liked “a new career in a new town”

A classic for a reason and what classic rock is all about imo. Some sweet hits, but for me no hidden gems. Goes between earnest/believable and corny/put-upon at times. But thru it all, those classics ring as loud today as they did years ago.

Getting really bored of the classic rock. Couldn't get through.

Reminds me of High School- real cool guy music and took me back to being cool and on top of new music. Groovy, ambient, electric with enough melody to feel connected to the songs. .

Classic- paints a picture of a time and place (what hip hop does best imo).

Would I like this album as much if I didn't have long-ago memories of establishing musical tastes to it? It's a classic and weird in ways I really like and may not have patience for anymore. RIP my attention span.

Such a great opening song! Some really fun ones on here. Can be repetitive at times, but ultimately high energy and melodic.

Makes sense why I've never heard any of these songs, despite liking the Beach Boys. A weird one from them, like a whole album of B-sides.

LOVE THIS One

I liked this more than I thought I would. Stopped down, surreal and kind of despondent. Not easy listening, but melodic at times and does what Tom Waits Does best- pushes music to its edge while sometimes going over it.

I don't understand why this is on the 1001 albums list. The album feels really dated, like from the 70's perhaps but I'm not sure what the intention is. Is it referential?

Couldn’t get thru it

Finally some Motown/funk/RnB. This felt refreshing and fun despite some of the sadder themes on the album.

Classic- reminds me of high school. Not my favorite in the trilogy but an amazing debut and a great intro to an era-defining producer. So sad that his legacy is forever tarnished and I have to feel bad abt streaming this album and giving KW my $.03!

Mopey white not music from the 90’s. A less charming or melodic (and commercial) Third Eye Blind. Struggling to understand its place on this list!

Wow classic

I wish artists would just remaster albums without adding a million things. Not unique to this album but hard to find a version to listen to that feels authentic to the original output of the album. Besides that, just another grunge album. Maybe I don;t like this genre of music. Boring to me

I LOVE THIS ALBUM. So beautiful. Reminds me of where I was in 2011. I'm glad it's getting the love is deserves. Is is a 5 because it's good and I like it or is it good and I like it bc it's 5?

a classic. Probably the only bob Dylan album that makes me feel nostalgic (vs irritated)

easy listening. Hard to place in their timeline. Not sure if there is something unique about this one that their other albums don't also have. But again, great sounds (if not the same sound).
