Californication by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Feb 17 2026

upon second listen this album is lit. fav songs are porcelain and scar tissue and road trippin’ is a great closer. was unaware that john frusciante was the guitarist and he slays here just as much as he does solo.

Different Class by Pulp
Feb 18 2026

this was fun. brit pop is lit and cocker being a sex icon just makes me laugh after seeing the tiny desk. i love weirdos. fav songs disco 2000 and mis-shapes

Pet Sounds by The Beach Boys
Feb 19 2026

a classic on every best albums ever list. i'm sure theres a lot of history and maybe they changed the sound of the music of their time. it's fun, its sweet, lots of classics. i don't think i'll find myself coming back to it very often but it was a good listen. favorite songs: wouldn't it be nice and that's not me

Pink Moon by Nick Drake
Feb 20 2026

just perfection

Feb 21 2026

listened to this at a time that it really spoke to me (on the dangerous 40 bus with people i don't want to see). loved the orchestral arrangements on these and the drums are killer. reminds of a jeff buckley if he was hard rock. fav songs: assassin, invincible, city of delusion

Actually by Pet Shop Boys
Feb 22 2026

just so aggressively british and 80s and gay. didn't hit for me on this listen, but i can see it being good upon relisten.

Joan Armatrading by Joan Armatrading
Feb 23 2026

got this record for 2 dollars not knowing anything abt it, played it that night and fell in love. her voice is beautiful, the guitar and piano play so well with each other. and she got me a point on catfishing. i do think side a has all the heavy hitters. fav songs: down to zero, love and affection.

Central Reservation by Beth Orton
Feb 25 2026

love this. never heard of her before, great discovery. learned from ana she is in a band called heavenly. also fire. fav songs: pass in time, stolen car

Hysteria by Def Leppard
Feb 26 2026

some absolute bangers. brings me straight back to my guitar hero days

Giant Steps by The Boo Radleys
Mar 01 2026

had a fun time with this. deeper cut in brit pop. learned a bit about the beatles influence on this genre and now motivated to read more pitchfork and rolling stone album reviews.

Hot Fuss by The Killers
Mar 02 2026

white girl classic

Cloud Nine by The Temptations
Mar 03 2026

super awesome heartbreak album

Porcupine by Echo And The Bunnymen
Mar 05 2026

solid post punk album. felt like i was in stranger things

Teen Dream by Beach House
Mar 06 2026

all the songs kinda sound the same but like they are good. It’s like cigarettes after sex, just gets boring after a bit but like if it comes on I’ll bump to it

Bayou Country by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Mar 07 2026

kinda all sounded the same but a good groove solid listen overall

Illinois by Sufjan Stevens
Mar 10 2026

like if a musical was an album. not my vibe. much prefer carrie and lowell. super long too.

Want One by Rufus Wainwright
Mar 12 2026

gave me heavy bo burnham energy in the way that its heavy theatery vibes. ai goblins said he once cited rufus as an influence so im not wrong. sike i think it hallucinated but anyways i like the vibes, julie was onto something.

Who's Next by The Who
Mar 16 2026

didn't deep listen but enjoyed myself for sure and will definitely come back to it

Neon Bible by Arcade Fire
Mar 17 2026

nothing notable honestly, did not hate the listen but probably will not return to it

Ready To Die by The Notorious B.I.G.
Mar 18 2026

had a lot of fun listening to this - great album. super awesome story telling. loving the reggae energy in some of the tracks.

In Rainbows by Radiohead
Mar 20 2026

I mean it’s in rainbows

21 by Adele
Mar 27 2026

honestly just the fact that i have half the words to this album memorized from childhood speaks to its importance. yes all the songs kinda sound the same but her voice is beautifula and her talent is undeniable.

Zombie by Fela Kuti
Mar 28 2026

super cool

Tidal by Fiona Apple
Mar 31 2026

definitely feels more unpolished than when the pawn. female rage has been an interesting theme of exploration yesterday. Watched forbidden fruits, was much more a fan of this album than the movie. Fiona Apple is a legend, this as her first album is a solid beginning

Rio by Duran Duran

Sea Change by Beck

fucked with this heavy
