70s brilliance

Formative listening for teenagers in the 90s. Instrumental in my love for French house, trip hop. Ce Martin la remains one of my favourite songs.

I gotta say, formative, the raw sound and talent is there. Even classics like fight for your right... But it really lands for me, with hello nasty then 18 years later with To The 5 Bourghs as my true beasties favourite album.

They loved a long track in the 70s, drugs were high quality back then. One or two I liked. But I've had better.

I don't get it, not my go to 70s album. But I'll give it another go.

I'd say 2.5 I like the country twang and almost wolf mother sound, but I think there are better options

Feels kind of slow and lazy for rock and roll. Does not have the Crisp sound of Black Sabbath

2 track album. Boss move. I feel like a young Jim Morrison had this on repeat. Have added do favourites. That ending!

Classic Brit 60s sound

20-year-old me approves. Back end of the album has the musical tension of Willy Wonka's Chocolate River just before it turns tits up.

I do love this album. 5 stars, 70s song writers
