Harvest by Neil Young
Mar 07 2026

Just don’t get it. I don’t like his voice and the music’s okay

Damaged by Black Flag
Mar 15 2026
So by Peter Gabriel
Mar 22 2026
I Should Coco by Supergrass
Mar 28 2026

3.5! Like Devo, MCR, and The Fratellis’ 90s Brit pop punk cousin.

Behaviour by Pet Shop Boys
Mar 30 2026

2.5. Love some PSB hits, but this album felt flat and boring.

The ArchAndroid by Janelle Monáe
Mar 31 2026

Very talented artist with a beautiful voice. Album is inventive, safely experimental, and rich, but not really my personal cup of tea (other than Sir Greendown, which has been a fav song for years). Emulating a variety of styles, genres and artists is cool and shows an impressive knowledge of music, but then you’re that artist that sounds like a bunch of other artists rather than your own unique style. Nothing wrong with that.

The Wildest! by Louis Prima
Apr 01 2026

Gotta love Louis. Fun, lively and entertaining.

Aladdin Sane by David Bowie
Apr 02 2026

Possibly my least liked album by one of my favorite artists. ‘Time’ has been an all time favorite song for a long time, and Lady Grinning Soul is great, but I can’t say I love the rest of the album. Too frenetic for me, though I get the point with the theme of the album. Overall, a work I appreciate more than enjoy. 3.5 for enjoyment, but 4 because it’s Bowie.

The Renaissance by Q-Tip
Apr 03 2026

Big fan of A Tribe Called Quest. Exactly the kind of rap/hip-hop I like. Smooth, windows down on a summer day in LA type vibe.

War by U2
Apr 04 2026

3.5-4 for me, but going for 4 cuz they’re my momma’s favorite band so U2 was sort of the soundtrack of my childhood. Very nostalgic. Sunday Bloody Sunday is an awesome song.

Smash by The Offspring
Apr 05 2026

Eh

Tom Tom Club by Tom Tom Club
Apr 06 2026

Fun, inventive, def have their own thing going while fitting in nicely with sounds like Talking Heads, etc.

Physical Graffiti by Led Zeppelin
Apr 07 2026

If we could do half stars, I’d probably give it a 3.5, but it’s closer to a 4 than a 3. Kashmir is a banger. The other songs all kind of blended together to me, and the slightly grittier style of this album isn’t my fav when it comes to LZ.

Born In The U.S.A. by Bruce Springsteen
Apr 08 2026

Another 3.5er for me but I’ll round up. There’s no one else like Bruce. He’s got that sensitive blue collar northern boy style on lock (don’t know why I said that).

Abraxas by Santana
Apr 09 2026

Good stuff. A nice listen.

Kid A by Radiohead
Apr 11 2026

I appreciate this album more than I enjoy it. Kid A (track) lyric process is cool. I can only handle Thom Yorke’s voice in small doses.

We're Only In It For The Money by The Mothers Of Invention
Apr 12 2026

Awesome. Not sure how to explain what this album did for me other than “it explained a lot.”

Raw Like Sushi by Neneh Cherry
Apr 13 2026

3.5 but rounding up. Not my usual jam but I really enjoyed the vibe while working late at night.

Heroes by David Bowie
Apr 14 2026

I LOVE early Bowie and glam rock Bowie. This album is neither and I’m sorry, I just don’t like it. Honestly, it’s a 2 in terms of enjoyment but rounding up cuz it’s Bowie.

Diamond Life by Sade
Apr 15 2026

Not really a fan of smooth jazz pop 90s 🤷‍♀️

Apr 16 2026

Really cool album. Lots of stylistic influences and of course strong Irish roots. Listened on a 4 hour drive and it was great in that context. Wouldn’t listen in any other probably lol. 3.5??

Arise by Sepultura
Apr 19 2026

I think I have to be in a very specific mood for this, and I was in it.
