Songs Of Love And Hate by Leonard Cohen

Unironically the first album I had to skip songs in. Just incoherent rambling over repetitive guitar grooves. This is what I’d expect Charles Manson to play to brainwash people.

Led Zeppelin III by Led Zeppelin
Apr 07 2026

Cool album lots of interesting concepts. It’s hard to top immigrant song at the start of the album. However, even though the first song was the best there weren’t any songs I disliked on the album.

Dire Straits by Dire Straits
Apr 08 2026

Cool instrumentals but overall mediocre

Songs In The Key Of Life by Stevie Wonder
Apr 09 2026

Classic album. Various different styles all executed excellently. There were some songs that I wouldn’t listen to again so I’d probably give it a 9 or 4.5 but I’m rounding up to 5 because it’s definitely better than zeppelin 3

Apr 10 2026

This is like a mix of an adult swim intro and the beastie boys except instead of rapping they’re repeating the same thing for 6 minutes straight until it gets to the next song. Praise you was the only song I might consider listening to again.

Surfer Rosa by Pixies
Apr 11 2026

Not my favorite pixies album. I feel like they are at their best when they aren’t doing super heavy songs. This album had a lot of those heavier songs which I think takes away from the overall quality. Gigantic and where is my mind are classics though

Coat Of Many Colors by Dolly Parton
Apr 12 2026

Dont love country but this was good hungover music for a Saturday

Dare! by The Human League
Apr 13 2026
Songs From The Big Chair by Tears For Fears
Apr 14 2026

Straight classic bangers. Helped me channel my inner finance major during my first day working at a bank

Fear Of Music by Talking Heads
Apr 15 2026

I like talking heads but not their best work in my opinion

Apr 17 2026

Theater kid anthems in this. Undeniably some bangers though

White Blood Cells by The White Stripes
Apr 18 2026

Pretty standard pop punk for the most part. Most of the songs sort of sound like the jets. We’re going to be friends is the obvious hit on this album but overall not a bad album.

Pump by Aerosmith
Apr 19 2026

Just an alright album other than Janie’s got a gun

Violator by Depeche Mode
Apr 21 2026

Sort of cool at times it felt too experimental. Not that that’s a problem it just isn’t something I’d listen to again. Personal Jesus is a banger though

War by U2
Apr 24 2026

Sunday Bloody Sunday is such a banger. The rest of the album is go but forgettable

There's A Riot Goin' On by Sly & The Family Stone
Apr 25 2026

Sunday Bloody Sunday is such a banger. The rest of the album is go but forgettable

Hysteria by Def Leppard
Apr 26 2026

Another pretty standard rock album with one breakout hit. Nothing bad about it but nothing incredible either.

What's Going On by Marvin Gaye
Apr 27 2026

Probably the most cohesive album I’ve ever listened to. Every song flows perfectly into the next track. And the underlying tone is consistent throughout the whole album.

Mothership Connection by Parliament
Apr 28 2026

So goofy but so funky. Bootsy kills that shit on bass as always. Definitely on the funk my Rushmore next to James brown and Stevie wonder.

Apr 29 2026

It felt like they were just trying to find their sound which is fine but it just sounds like a worse version of the beetles in this album.

The Stooges by The Stooges
Apr 30 2026

Pretty heavy for the late 60s. Cool but not cool enough to add to my playlist

May 01 2026

You can say a lot of things about cold play but you can’t say Chris Martin doesn’t have a great voice. This albums just pretty solid 2 major hits and there wasn’t an unpleasant song on the album. Nothing too spectacular or innovative but still an excellent album.

Bookends by Simon & Garfunkel
May 05 2026
Songs Of Love And Hate by Leonard Cohen
May 06 2026

Unironically the first album I had to skip songs in. Just incoherent rambling over repetitive guitar grooves. This is what I’d expect Charles Manson to play to brainwash people.

Step In The Arena by Gang Starr
May 07 2026

Some really cool beats especially for so early in the 90s.

Your Arsenal by Morrissey
May 08 2026

Very tasteful for a punk rock album. I really enjoyed sea sick yet still docked.

The Score by Fugees
May 09 2026

Some crazy mega bangers but also some mid songs 8 bordering on 9 out of ten

Ritual De Lo Habitual by Jane's Addiction
May 10 2026

Great album close to perfect but there’s something in my mind that keeps it from reaching the 5 star mark

The New Tango by Astor Piazzolla
May 11 2026

Not necessarily my top pick genre wise but the composition are super impressive and interesting

Stand! by Sly & The Family Stone
May 12 2026
Out of Step by Minor Threat
May 21 2026

Just kind of generic sounding punk

Oar by Alexander 'Skip' Spence
