1001 Albums Summary

Meh. Starts strong with Enter Sandman but it deflates quickly. I particularly like Nothing Else Matters and The Unforgiven but the rest is really one-note, monotonous redneck slop with shit drums. Wherever I May Roam is catchy tho.

Its a classic!

Man...... i just burst out in tears after listening at the first 3 chords of Grace. This one is a personal favorite and I'm. biased. But it might be one of the best albums of all time. Also I definitely have to indulge in more live versions of records that i enjoy! Grace live at Sin-é is truly amazing. 1000/10

I was honestly pleasantly surprised! Its not my usual scene, and even though some tracks are a bit forgettable, the narrative and production got to me. I will definitely be revisiting some of them. Lovedddd A Rose for Emily and Time of the Season, specially.

#imsorrywomen but i did NOT like this one. One of my core feminist beliefs is that women should make more mediocre, badly executed yet true art (like many. MANY men do all the time) and this record is a perfect example of that. Even if i cannot personally enjoy it on a musical level, i recognize that its a revolutionary piece given the lyrics and the moment it was released.

A couple of really high highs (Simple Man, Free Bird!!!) but also some reeeeeally low lows. Overall a pretty solid album

Whew!! lots of insecure men is this comment section! Imagine letting the fear of others perceiving you as vaguely girly (or god forbid, gay) rule what you hear and prive yourself of an entire genre filled with worthwhile music and artists! Anyway, #freebritney
