Not really my sound….seems very dated now too..

Never liked Oasis. Dislike the whining wingeing voice.

Always loved this album…the sound track of my teens. It was so extremely different from all else at the time. Lucy in The Sky my fave.

Not keen on prog rock and concept albums. A long listen as a double album which I couldnt understand …a weird story. The sound was weary amd dreary and dragged on. Some of the lyrics were pleasantly poetic.

Funky wah wah sound….different from their rather formal early smooth love songs. Lovely voice. Fave track…Runaway Child. Enjoyed.

Oh these are the electronic sounds of their times…..I am bored silly with the repetitiveness of each track. They dont change enough to keep me interested. No doubt when they first came out people were hooked with the novelty. Good for trancelike dancing!

Each track began with really interesting sounds but always resorted to the same rhythmic talk and lost the great early start

This was SO nostalgic for me…we used to dance the night away to Southern Man and Neil Young’s left wing politics were in most of his lyrics …anti war and pro Civil Rights.1969 was a year of great optimism for young folk…the world was going to be so much better than what our parents had experienced. Neil Youngs music was a vital part of our times.

Nice tunes nothing too shout about…some interesting love lyrics.

What a huge impact this made in 1967….real avant-garde pop Van Vliets voice was so unconventional. If it hadnt been for John Peel playing this on his radio programme we wouldnt have heard it at all. Danced to Yellow Brick Road! Autumns Child has a theramin. Great sounds of my youth!

Loved this! Joyful! Great rhythms! Had it on very loud several times. Love the voice too.
