1001 Albums Summary

Listening while falling asleep at the bus. Bob’s voice makes me fall asleep.

It sounded alright, it came out in the early 70’s so I think it must have been a phenomenon in early punk music.

It sounded great, but it’s not for my taste.

Sounds pretty groovy. “Artists Only” is my favourite so far. “Stay Hungry” reminded me of “Psycho Killer” for a bit.

A masterpiece of rock n roll! “Child In Time”, 10/10.

I listened it multiple times, I have it on vinyl. Album felt like a movie before the movie became a thing. Every song felt in place and important, even the ones that felt more like a transition to the next song. Comfortably Numb is a masterpiece, David Gilmour never failed on his solos in this album. Who would have thought that the story of the character is a subtle reference to Kanye West in a way.

The album felt like a whimsical vibe until “Student Demonstration Time” started playing, it sounds good though. “A Day In The Life Of A Tree” sounds like the title for a trip on salvia.

Good album for a long trip through the countryside. Reminds me of Jim Croce.

The one album that keeps American rock radio stations alive.

It sounds like what a non metal listener thinks metal sounds like. The singer screams like he’s set in flames, like he’s in pure agony every time.

If I have to choose an album to listen forever, it’s gotta be this one. There’s something in this album that changed me, it made me realized I was chasing the wrong passion, I forgot that I really like music, and I want to do nothing but make and help make music. Favourite song: Time “…good manners don’t cost nothing, do they?” I keep using that quote to this day.
