Funky, enchanting, relaxing, beautiful.

A couple of fun songs, but not as enjoyable as Gorillaz records.

Wears out it's welcome fast.

Short, bluesy, fun. No time is wasted.

I just can't phantom under what circumstances someone would want to listen to this. Not suitable for the car, the gym, a party, or listening alone at home. Maybe serviceable as background noise while studying or performing chores.

It's not Rumours but it has it's moments.

Cheesy but in an enjoyable way. My favorite track is "The Tiger" and I imagine "I Kissed The Teacher" was more fun when this album came out, but as often as teacher/student affairs are in the news these days it just feels creepy.

Great musicianship and melodies by the rest of the band, but the lead singer's voice is profoundly unpleasant and annoying. It sounds like your drunken co-worker trying to do a Mick Jagger impression at a karaoke bar.

Borderline Unlistenable.

I knew nothing about blues before listening to this album. I still know nothing about blues, but I enjoyed listening to the album.

The deep cuts aren't as grating as the singles, but this band just rubs me the wrong way. Lyrics are "deep" if you're a middle schooler that's never read na book before. They aren't pleasant enough as a band to be pop and lack any of the edge or creativity that existed in the 90's alt rock scene.

A bit too soft and moody for my tastes. I liked "Planet Telex" and "Just" though.

She's talented, but it's just not my cup of tea personally.

"Eple" "Sparks" & "Poor Leno" are the stand out tracks, but this album suffers from what many (mainly) instrumental albums face, multiple songs serve as forgettable generic background noise. Some good moments on the album, but a bit unbalanced.

I've never heard anything like this before. Each track serves as part song and part short story. It's half album and half anthology. While all songs are ultimately about murder or death the changes in musical styles (rock, folk, country, & more) and settings keeps the project from ever becoming stale. Really impressive.

Good mix of high energy tracks and mellow grooves.

A lot of the songs sound the same. Not bad, but lacking in variety.

Nice rifts, I appreciate that I can understand most of what the singer says.

Who am I to question David Bowie? Little to no filler, an exhilarating listen from start to finish.
