Abraxas by Santana
May 25 2026

Solid I enjoyed the lyricism and for someone who generally mostly listen to songs with lyrics the instrumental sections were still quite funky and fun. I’m a fan but don’t know that I’ll relisten later. 6.87. Glass of orange juice. When you want it it’s great but most of the time not a huge need

Maggot Brain by Funkadelic
May 26 2026

Experimental and funky. Would listen while excavating a gothic church in the 60s. Perchance a 5.54/10. Tis a banana pineapple smoothie but not enough orange juice and a little thin for my taste. Also missing a touch of honey

My Aim Is True by Elvis Costello
May 27 2026

Fun 60s vibe very energizing. Imagine a diner filled with a good burger on Route 66. Drink wise it’s like an espresso pour over onto a chocolate milksha. 7.93/10

Rumours by Fleetwood Mac
May 28 2026

bangerrrrr tis a classic that everyone knows for a reason. the epitome of a roadtrip through western montana while chowing down on cheese cracker sandwhiches. drinkwise its like a cranberry sprite mixed in with a dash of vanilla ice cream and festiveness. fears getting sweet and reptitive but mostly on POINT. gonna have to say 9.12/10

Californication by Red Hot Chili Peppers
May 29 2026

Oregon will forever be better than california. its good and I know its iconic but its missing something. This one is the same situation as watching shrek without lord farquad, its there and still funny but I don't know what its trying to prove. continuing with the soda theme this one is akin to an orange fanta from the can thats been left out in the california sun but youve just been working away in the heat. so the warmness of the drink, although making you slightly uneasy, still satisfies some inner craving

Cloud Nine by The Temptations
May 30 2026

truly magnificent representation of what it feels like in my head whenever Im cruising around on a july summer day at like 11AM. quite the fun shower album and very grateful to have been put onto this one. feels like a I'm on psychedelic drugs watching a flower bloom through the pavement cracks in the best way. drink: coconut water accentuated with some sparkling water, rose petals, raspberry jam, and a piece of a brass sax. rating: 8.58

The Predator by Ice Cube
May 31 2026

The feeling of dropping a quarter down a drain before finding a silver dollar in the park. Not as everyday by any means but got its moments. As someone who’s not a rap fan like at all Twas pleasantly amused with this one. Also loving the social commentary we gettin. 1992 rarely looked better on itself. Solid 7.4/10. Still not crazy high cause it’s rap but that just my bias. Drink: gimme a horchata with too much cinammon. Also too many ice cubes.(hah get it?!) still good flavor tho with the right meal.

Crosby, Stills & Nash by Crosby, Stills & Nash
Jun 01 2026

Not what I’m looking for for some reason. Impressive acapella but like the kind you hear mid high school performance that you don’t really go back to. Music forgettable too. Akin to a night out on the town where you feel like it’s an absolute rager and then you look back in confusion. Drink: a Heineken. Watery, makes you tipsy, and rarely the one for the job. Rating: 4.37/10

Ágætis Byrjun by Sigur Rós
Jun 02 2026

Funky as expected when you see an outlined baby and a blue background. Kind of rncapsulated what the womb might have been idk I don’t remember but nothing all the memorable anyway. The feeling of doing weeding in the yard while zoned out in 88 degree weather. Drink: have to go with an orange Gatorade. Touches elements of what you want but way better alternatives.

Jun 03 2026

Oh. My, goodness. Feeling so uplifted lemme tell you. Couldn’t tell if it was French or German for the first bit for some reason but OOOH that French smooth. Balling out. Feeling of when you hit that home run in Gaga ball and the team gets to celebrating. 9.4/10. Drink: lemon spritz with raspberry compote ( I ain’t neva had a spritz but it feels right)

Blood, Sweat & Tears by Blood, Sweat & Tears
Jun 04 2026

Mid ahhhhh. Some fun instrumentals but a piece of work. That item you find at the garage sale and start excited about but put away and never really come back to. Drink: cold cup of instant coffee with a bitter taste but like 2 creamers so certainly edible. Rating is 5.7/10

Rum Sodomy & The Lash by The Pogues
Jun 05 2026

BANG. Absolutely wonderfullll and majesticccc. Makes me want to learn the bagpipe while sailing towards skellig Michael and reenacting that monastic lifestyle. Top tier that! Drink: cool glass of milk. Rating 9.5/10

The Chronic by Dr. Dre
Jun 06 2026

Straight up freakin mid track it was wild. Certainly memorable. Akin to that time you get up on stage in front of the school ready to drop some beats in the talent show before your friend pants you cause he was payed 3 bucks and a lollipop to do it. Drink: water sweetened with Cotten candy and your dad’s cough syrup. Rating: 2.35/10

Jun 07 2026

Walking through a whimsical backcountry neighborhood in southeast Gloucestershire during the peak goth movement of the 1980s. Iconic and well known by many but not inherently the greatest walk out there. A walk you take maybe 5 times a year but never more. It’ll do though! Gonna say 6.84/10. Drink: a well done matcha with some English breakfast syrup mixed in to overpower the grass feel

Broken English by Marianne Faithfull
Jun 08 2026

didnt know what was going on and was the epitome of background music that failed to grab me. Might just be ADHD brain but after listening to the album it felt like I had only listened to one song. drink: applesauce left out in the heat and slightly mushy with NO CINNAMON

Guero by Beck
Jun 09 2026

wilder than a cody maverick wave during a surfing competition against big hank. surprisingly a fan somehow. feels like I just put on some tie with various color cars on it before heading out on a date in the middle of that imaginary world of ready player one. rating: 7.32/10. Drink: mountain dew and sprite slushie but a tad bit high on the sugar

Icon of the game but my adhd is struggling to hook onto these lengthy songs. Rating: 8.12/10 drink: lil strawberry limeade with a paper straw though

1977 by Ash
Jun 12 2026

okkkkk rock is on a roll here. Maybe I dont hate it after all. Drink: root beer spiced with licorice and vanilla bean pods. rating 8.73/10

Head Hunters by Herbie Hancock
Jun 13 2026

was jamming to start with and he's got some funky crescendos that do really sell what he's got to sell. I fear however that I came in wanting a lawn mower only to walk away with a pack of car fresheners. Not quite there? Drink: mango latte. (I dont know what it is either). Rating 6.45/10

Bummed by Happy Mondays
Jun 14 2026

ehhhhhhh what's going on? 2 hours of wowowowow all the way homeeee is more than enough for me. Not the biggest fan of his style of rasp either. The instruments make me feel like they're trying a stereotypical mixture of 70s rock and ancient middle eastern hymnals (and it doesn't work so well). gonna shoot a 3.40 here! drink: diluted macaroni and cheese water with lemons in it.

Parallel Lines by Blondie
Jun 15 2026

ok well Im... intrigued? Possibly? I didn't realize Blondie did hearts of glass, which is ICONIC! but still it felt like background music in a Canadian steakhouse while the candles are lit. Drink: keeping with the setting maybe a slightly soured glass of grape juice that has got some ketchup in it accidentally.

Feast of Wire by Calexico
Jun 17 2026

ooh la la Calexico with some delicious vibes. feeling like im over at my hip grannies house who is teaching my all about the disco revival while wearing shades and stirring a hot pot of cinnamon hot chocolate. Gonna have to be a 8.01 from me dawg

Ananda Shankar by Ananda Shankar
Jul 14 2026

I dont think I'll ever need to hear the sounds of droning mosquitos mingled with the beautiful sitar ever again. Yet at the same time I feel eternally grateful for having heard it. Gonna throw this one a bold bone. I can't decide if it's 3/10 or 7/10 but it's certainly not 5. I'll go 7.13/10 for vibes. Drink: least casual sip of hogwash pickle berry punch known to man

Disraeli Gears by Cream
Aug 03 2026

wooooooooo its a 5er but a low fiver. Just barely scrapes in but man would listen again. rating: 8.78/10. Tales of brave ulysses ringing round my mind. drink: coffee pour over on ice with some coconut syrup, honey, and creamer that's just slightly too buttery
