I mean. Classic prog. C'mon.

Dark, moody, and thoughtful. Perfect for a stormy day, or when you're drinking, smoking, and drinking coffee at the all night dive down the street.

Three absolute bangers...followed by five rather boring songs in my opinion. Would rather just listen to the first three tracks on their own

I'm nostalgic for two songs on here, but otherwise it just does not keep my attention. The riffs are good, but something about this brand of "too cool for school metal" does not hit for me

Liked this one more than expected! A good post-punk sound, with some interesting guitar parts and structures. Didn't like the vocals as much, but that's usual for punk music for me. Sounds like they influenced the Strokes

Bowie at his Bowie-est. Life On Mars is an all time classic, and while it isn't all my favorite, a really solid album overall.

I want to like this, and I do like some of it. But there are moments where things just drag on with a flurry of words that just doesn't work for me. I can see why this was influential, just not for me

So...I'm the kind of sick freak who listens to this kind of stuff. Weirdly, it has a quality similar to ambient music where you kind of just get lost in it. But this was a bit too intense for me

I'm not huge on David Bryne's voice, but can't deny how good some of the songs are. That said, future albums just knock this one out of the water.

Vibes. I enjoy how it the music puts you in a time and place so effectively. Also clearly very socially conscious in that approach as well.

A truly legendary album that changed the western music canon forever...and it's just not for me. I like some of the songs, but it just isn't my cup of tea. And that's ok!

I really love how B.I.G. shapes the tracks here. Excellent flow and some classic bars

I like aspects of this. But I don't think it comes together for me. Though I can certainly appreciate Youth Against Fascism.

Tackling some similar themes to What's Going On by Marvin Gaye. An album that isn't trying to hook you, just asking you to sit with it for a while and contemplate.

I recognize it was different at the time of release, but to me this just sounds like generic, run-of-the-mill rock

I really dig this. Apparently, Todd has been flying under my radar. Good use of psychedelic sounds, progressive and somehow poppy moments.

Every time I listen to the Byrds, I just feel like I could be listening to better versions of the same kinds of songs in the Beatles Help to Revolver period..
