This was a pretty good album. Great vocals, really cool guitar tone and style. I liked the covers a lot. 3/5
It grew on me a little but then I got tired of it. I knew his voice sounded familiar. I've heard the title track before but it must've been a radio edit because I don't remember it being 10 minutes long. Not bad, and I can hear how they must've influenced bands like The Strokes, but not really for me. 5/10
Nice fat bass lines, groovy guitar. Not so into the gospel stuff but it sounded nice I guess. 5/10
Kanye West is a polarizing figure. Unfortunately, he is also a very talented rapper and producer. This is a really good album full of bangers. It's sooo long though. 8/10

Some crazy sounds in this album. Equal parts wild/exciting and smooth/dreamy, often In the same song. Really great stuff that opened my eyes to this type of music. 8/10
Great album that kept getting better. Some really cool instrumentation all around, not to mention the vocals. Such a great voice and he does great things with it. I liked this more than I thought I would, especially for how long it is. 8/10
Killer bass guitar, multiple odd Time signature changes, key changes, and an iconic voice belting soulful lyrics. Of course I’m talking about Dolly Parton’s Coat Of Many Colors. 7/10

Really really good album full of great songs. I grew up listening to Alanis Morissette so some tracks are already in regular rotation but it was nice to revisit some I don't play that often. 8.10

Such a great vocalist singing about really beautiful stuff. I love how full the production sounds without being too much. I bet it's even better on a relisten. I really liked the classroom segments. They add a lot to the flow of the album. 8/10
Somehow both very early 2000s and timeless at the same time. Production is scientifically formulated to be as catchy as possible. A little cheesy at times (the cover and title for example) but it's a good cheese that has mostly aged well. Strong start but drops a bit in the second half. 7/10
Loud as fuck. I can hear how this must’ve influenced some of the more contemporary music I’ve listened to. Enjoyable stuff but it kind of all blends together after a while. 7/10
Decently pleasant sounding country interspersed with horrifying tales of murder and suicide. Old country music subjects are as varied and interesting as the time signatures they use. 6/10

I grew up listening to this album. Mom played it often when I was little so I'm very familiar with all these songs. Many of them are in my regular rotation. I still almost cried twice listening to it today and I only kept it together because I was at work. Songs like Little Green and The Last Time I Saw Richard get me every time. Joni Mitchell has such a hauntingly beautiful voice. It's not all blues and melancholy though, with upbeat tracks like All I Want and Carey balancing things out. There's even a Christmas song sort of. 10/10

I feel like this album would have blown my mind if I were alive at the time. It still sort of does since it sounds so ahead of its time. Ozzy's voice cuts through a thick, heavy pit of sludge delivering iconic lyrics on some of the most well known metal songs of all time. Paranoid is a very dynamic album with a lot of different styles going on often in the same song. Really well put together. It's hard to compete with the first half but the second half holds up great. The drum solo in Rat Salad was sick. 9/10

Kinda nice, kinda plain, kinda long. Come Pick Me Up has a laughably bad harmonica solo. The rest of the harmonica isn’t any better. I actually kinda like the stripped down sound at times but it’s hit or miss. 5/10
So many different parts and sounds all working together in such a whimsical yet mechanically precise way like a big purple Rube Goldberg machine. Kind of slowed down in the second half but there were still good songs with good moments. I've never really listened to Prince before aside from a couple basic hits so I'm glad this was the first list album chronologically. 7/10
Good stuff but I think I liked Here, My Dear more. Didn't care for the gospelish stuff so much. Last track was really great. 7/10
I like Metallica but I've never actually listened to a full album before. This was mostly good. Really long songs but they only sometimes felt like they dragged on too long. Enjoyable guitar solos. I like the progression of different sections of each song and how they transition into one another. 7/10
