1001 Albums Summary

This was a pretty good album. Great vocals, really cool guitar tone and style. I liked the covers a lot. 3/5

It grew on me a little but then I got tired of it. I knew his voice sounded familiar. I've heard the title track before but it must've been a radio edit because I don't remember it being 10 minutes long. Not bad, and I can hear how they must've influenced bands like The Strokes, but not really for me. 5/10

Nice fat bass lines, groovy guitar. Not so into the gospel stuff but it sounded nice I guess. 5/10

Kanye West is a polarizing figure. Unfortunately, he is also a very talented rapper and producer. This is a really good album full of bangers. It's sooo long though. 8/10

I didn't like this very much. Not that bad I guess, just really forgettable songs. Glad it was so short. 4/10

Sounds like a Mentos commercial. I wouldn’t listen to a whole album of that. Not even a week in and I am being tested. I’m sure I haven’t even begun to scratch the surface of the music I don’t really want to listen to. Only three more years of this

Really great guitar and good vocals too. Pretty sure I have the blues though so maybe I'm biased. 7/10

I guess I like this band more than I thought I did. Cool. 7/10
