I like Curtis Mayfield, but not this album

I loved this, wish this rating thing was a 10 point not a 5 point scale

Two songs is not an album unless you are Fela 🗯️😾

The cats were maybe a bit much 😼, but other than that this is such a good album, the guitar, the genre fusion, the flow of the whole thing

Unimaginative. Clumsy lyrics. Dude can’t sing. What’s with all the women and baby hating?

I absolutely love the temptations, was on cloud nine through this whole album

Iconic!!! But had to give it a three because there are some difficulties with the album, the biggest difficulty being making it all the way through ‘love me 4 me’. Great songs, mid album.

I was quite excited to listen to my first run dmc album, but that was a lot less enjoyable than I anticipated

This was such a great album that carried the spirit of this 1001 albums thing of listening to stuff I wouldn’t otherwise all the way through, and I’m so glad I did. At first quite unsettled, I soon started to really enjoy the unpredictability, playfulness and expansion. 4.5/5

Nice, but all kind of just blends into one, very boring, but nice background chill music

I listen to this yesterday and already can’t remember much about it, feel like that says a lot. Pleasant but in the way where you aren’t really in the mood to actually listen to music just have something cushioning the air
